Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique, may Allah be pleased with him (3rd part)
The Prophet’s love for Siddique
The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, went to his companions in the mosque and said: Where is Abu Bakr? Abu Bakr stood up. The Prophet said: Come and sit next to me. He said, “Where is Omar?” he got up The Prophet said: Come and sit next to me. Then he took both hands and raised them and said: This is how we will be sent on the Day of Judgment. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was asked: Who is the most beloved person to you? He said: Aisha. It was said: From men? He said: His father is Abu Bakr.
One day the Prophet said to him: O Abu Bakr! You are my companion in the cave and my companion by the pond.
One day, Umar Ibn Khattab got upset with Abu Bakr because of what he said and left Abu Bakr in anger. Hazrat Abu Bakr ran behind him and said: Don’t be upset and angry. But Hazrat Umar did not pay attention and he kept referring to him and Hazrat Umar did not pay attention, Abu Bakr Siddique went to the Prophet and complained to him and said: I went to him several times for reconciliation, and he refused. Hazrat Umar (RA) came to the mosque and saw the Prophet (PBUH) with a red face and Abu Bakr Siddique by his side.
When Abu Bakr Siddique saw this scene, he got down on his knees and started softening the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) towards Hazrat Umar. The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: Woe to you, O Omar, what do you have to do with Abu Bakr?
O people! I brought this religion, everyone said: you lied; But Abu Bakr said: You are right.
And he sympathized with me with his life, property and family.
Will you leave my friend and companion for me? May Heaven be your eternal home, may Gabriel be your helper. O five pillars of the house of Sharia, supporting the existence of four helpers. First, due to the presence of Sani Isnain, Siddique, who was a friend of the Cave. The modesty of Siddique may Allah be pleased with him.
Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique is better than all the people except for the Prophets, and his heavenly status is definite and certain, because the Holy Prophet himself gave him the good news of heaven. They even said about him: “He will be the leader of a group of heavenly beings.”
And they also gave him good news that on the Day of Resurrection, when he goes to heaven, all the gates of heaven will call him to them for honor and respect.
He also said: “Among my Ummah, Abu Bakr Siddique, may Allah be pleased with him, will enter Paradise first.” Despite all these virtues that Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique had, he sometimes said: “I wish I were a tree, I would be cut down.” Sometimes he said: “I wish I were a plant that animals ate.”
Once he entered a garden where he saw an animal sitting there, he sighed coldly and said: “How kindly you eat and drink; You Walk under the shade of trees and you have no account in the hereafter; I wish Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, was like you.”
Abu Bakr Siddique was not only one of the great leaders of Islam; rather, they were one of the greats of humanity.
Conquests during the reign of Abu Bakr
The cities of Yarmouk, Damascus and some cities of Sham were conquered during the caliphate of Abu Bakr Siddique and the series of Islamic victories continued rapidly. The Iraqi forces in the land of Iran and the Syrian forces in the land of Rome used to show the world the enchanting scenery of «لِیُظهِرِهُ عَلَی الِّدینَ کُلِّه» “That Allah may make him prevail over all religions.”
An excerpt from the words of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique:
1. I declare my religiosity to be the one who shows no other way than humility to introduce himself to others; Sufi imam Hazrat Junaid al-Baghdadi said about this word: “it is the best word that has been said about monotheism”.
2. Someone who has tasted the sweetness of God’s love; He doesn’t have a chance to seek the world and becomes wild and evasive from the world.
At the time of his death, people came to visit him and said: O Caliph of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace! Let us get you a doctor. He said: The doctor has examined me. They asked: What did the doctor say? He said: The doctor said: «فعّال لما یرید»” Effective for what he wants”
3. O people, cry out of fear of God, and if you do not cry, try to cry; we found greatness in piety, power in certainty and honor in humility.
