The Biography of the Sword of Allah: Khalid bin Walid, MAPH (Part 45)
The Sinister Plan of the Iranians Against Hazrat Khalid, MAPH
In the previous parts, it was stated that Hazrat Khalid, MAPH, defeated a prominent Arab commander named Aqa, resulting in severe hatred and malice towards him among the Arabs of Iraq. Therefore, they were always seeking revenge against him. Noticing Khalid’s presence in the city of Duma al-Jandal, they negotiated with the rulers of Iran to cooperate with them in attacking the pure army of Hazrat Khalid, may Allah be pleased with him, and claim the victory as their own.
Iranians led two huge armies under the command of Zarmehr and Roozbeh from the city of Baghdad to the conquered city of Anbar in order to unite with the Arabs of the island in the region of Khanafs and Hasid and attack the city of Anbar. When the Muslims of Anbar city was informed about this action, they immediately asked for help from the Muslims of Hira city, a number of Mujahideen who were stationed in Hira went to Anbar and joined the Mujahideen of Anbar.
At that time, Hazrat Khalid, MAPH, planned to attack the center of the Kingdom of Iran (Madian); but when he found out about this, he sent two of his skilled and fighting commanders named Qaqa’a and Abulili to Zarmehr and Rouzbeh. They reached Ain al-Tamar earlier than Zarmehr and Roozbeh.
On the other hand, a mujahid named Amr al-Qays wrote a letter to Khalid, MAPH, that many Arabs of the island have camped in the area of Masikh and want to avenge the blood of Aqah. Hazrat Khalid, MAPH, saw this situation as sensitive and appointed Ayaz as the guardian of Hira. He went to Khanafs and everyone gathered together in Hasid. There, a very dangerous war took place between the army of Islam and the infidels. Ultimately, the war ended in favor of the Mujahideen of Islam and many Arabs and Iranians perished.
The capture of Khanafs and Masikh
While the Muslims were celebrating their victory in the Hasid region, Abulili reached Khanafs and the news of this victory had spread. Therefore, without the need for war, that area was captured by Mujahideen of Islam.
After that, Hazrat Khalid called his commanders and agreed to conquer and take possession of Masikh region within one night. Therefore, they all surrounded Masikh from three directions and took the Iranians by surprise. They started the attack with full courage and put the region in the list of conquered regions of Islam and also granted the honor of being Islamic to that land.
Hazrat Khalid, MAPH, and the occupation of the land of Sani and Zamil
Hazrat Khalid, MAPH, consulted with his companions and Mujahideen, according to the plan that he prepared earlier, and attacked the Sani area at night, and by attacking from three directions, he surprised the enemy warriors and was able to defeat all the enemies.
After this attack, many enemy fighters took refuge in the Zamil region and made a treaty with other people so that they could attack the army of Hazrat Khalid. But by using divine intelligence, Hazrat Khalid (MAPH) was also able to defeat the enemies and capture the Zamil region as well.
After that, Hazrat Khalid (MAPH) moved to the Rizab region. When the people of that area saw the army of Hazrat Khalid, they fled and left the area. Therefore, Muslims were able to conquer that region without any worries.
These currents show how much the Mujahideen were eager to fight in the way of Allah and how eager they were to conquer the land and cities so that the circle of Islam would widen, and more people would worship Allah Almighty and avoid polytheism and disbelief, Therefore, they spared no effort and went forward without pause or rest.
