The Biography of the sword of Allah “Khalid bin Walid” MAPH (Part 26)
The dispatch of Khalid from Abu Bakr Siddiq to the Bazakha
Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him, ordered Hazrat Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) to go to Taliha Asadi with an army of 4,000 people and destroy him from the world and return and they themselves will also come to the aid of the Mojahedin from behind; But before Khalid moved to the other side, he ordered Hazrat Uday Ibn Hatim Ta’i, may Allah be pleased with him, to talk to some of the tribes who had a covenant with Taliha Al-Asadi, and for the second time to invite them to Allah Almighty and warns them from the bad consequences. On the other hand, Hazrat Uday moved to the Tai tribe and other tribes and invited them for the second time and regret them from supporting Taliha and was able to prepare a cavalry army of thousands of people from the “Tai” tribe to accompany Khalid in the war.
On the other hand, Hazrat Khalid, may Allah be pleased with him, moved towards Talihah, before reaching there, he sent two of his companions, Akasheh Ibn Mohsan and Sabit Ibn Iqram, may Allah be pleased with them, as the introduction of the army to Bazakha. There, a person named Habal, who was Taliha’s brother, met them, and they made him understand Asfal. When this news reached Taliha herself, she and her other brother, named Salma, came out of the house and fought with these two noble companions, and they both attained the high status of martyrdom and returned. Taliha was also informed of Khalid’s attack; Therefore, he gathered people for himself to fight in his footsteps for claiming his false prophecy.
In short, Khalid, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, moved with his four thousand warriors and thousands of horsemen from the Tai tribe, etc. The bodies of Akkasheh and Sabit have fallen to the ground; The Mojahedin were very upset about this and were disturbing to them, saying: After that, the true army of Islam was confronted with the apostate army who believed in Taliha. There was a very hard battle. But the accursed Taliha himself had prepared a horse and a camel for himself and his wife, so that he could escape at the time of defeat, and according to him, he was waiting for revelation, he did not enter the war and told his companions that I was waiting in my tent for Gabriel to reveal to me.
The scene of the defeat of the infidel army
One of his generals fought fiercely and came to Taliha three times and told him that the war had intensified, was there no news of Gabriel? Every time Taliha said that I was still waiting for revelation. Eventually, the man became frustrated and convinced that he was a liar, and rushed to the battlefield, announcing to his companions that Taliha is a liar and do not follow him.
After that, Taliha’s army became weak and defeated. But Taliha and his wife rode horses and camels and escaped from the battlefield, went to Sham and stayed there.
In this way, Hazrat Khalid (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) conquered the area of “Bazakha” and invited the infidels and polytheists to Islam, converted the to Islam again, and stayed there for a month and collected zakat and alms from the people. He taught them the divine commandments.
The allegiance of Hazrat Khalid to the apostates of the new Muslims
“Hazrat Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) pledged allegiance to those who from different tribes bowed down and believed in Islam; As the text of the allegiance letter is as follows: “The covenant of Allah Almighty is obligatory on you; “Be sure to believe in Allah Almighty and His Messenger, and perform prayers and pay zakat, and according to this allegiance, on my behalf, pledge allegiance to your sons and wives.”
The conversion of Taliha Al-Asadi to Islam
In the book “Abu Bakr al-Siddiq” is metioned that Taliha Asadi fled from “Bazakaha” to the Levant and settled in an area called “Kalb” and when the news of the conversion of Islam to the tribe of Bani Asad and Ghatfan had reached him, he also converted to Islam. In the last moments of the caliphate of Hazrat Siddiq Akbar, he came to the two holy Haramyn (Ka;aba) with the intention of performing Umrah. Someone introduced him to Abu Bakr Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him, who is the Taliha of Asadi and has had many activities against Islam; But the first caliph of Islam, Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, replied: «ماذا أصنع به قد أسلم؟! » He has now converted to Islam; So, what should I do?!
Hazrat Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) means that Islam forgives the sins of the past. Therefore, now Taliha has also believed, and we do not need to punish him for his time of disbelief.
The result of this section is also clear where Syedna Khalid Saifullah, MAPH, had a position with Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq, the first caliph of Islam. So that for the first time, in order to destroy the claimants of prophecy, Hazrat Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) chooses Khalid and leaves this decisive responsibility to him. On the other hand, we saw that Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) was really able to carry out his mission with his war tactics and turn off the light of apostasy and darkness.
