Jesus, speaks in the cradle and calls himself the servant of Allah
Quoting the words of Jesus Almighty Allah addresses the people of Maryam and says:
«قَالَ إِنِّي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ آتَانِي الْكِتَابَ وَجَعَلَنِي نَبِيًّا (٣٠) وَجَعَلَنِي مُبَارَكًا أَيْنَ مَا كُنْتُ وَأَوْصَانِي بِالصَّلَاةِ وَالزَّكَاةِ مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّا (٣١) وَبَرًّا بِوَالِدَتِي وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنِي جَبَّارًا شَقِيًّا (٣٢) وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيَّ يَوْمَ وُلِدْتُّ وَيَوْمَ أَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ أُبْعَثُ حَيًّا (٣٣) ذَٰلِكَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ ۚ قَوْلَ الْحَقِّ الَّذِي فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ (٣٤)» Jesus said: I am the servant of Allah, he will give me the book (Heavenly Bible) and he will make me a prophet [and He will reveal to me whatever He wants].
And wherever I am, he makes me a blessed person [for his religion and calling to it], and orders me to pray and pay zakat as long as I live, and [advises me] to do good to my mother and not make me an oppressor. He did not allow me to become miserable [from obedience and servitude to him and kindness to my mother and as a result] and peace of God be upon me the day I was born and the day I die and the day I will be resurrected alive. This is Jesus, the son of Maryam [with these qualities and characteristics that have been passed on], this is the true statement about him, the true statement in which they doubt.”
According to these verses, the first words that Jesus uttered is the confession of Allah’s servitude, and with this confession, on the one hand, he denied his Lord from having a child, and on the other hand, he acquitted his mother Maryam from the false suspicions of her people.
In the cradle Jesus, invites people to worship Allah
Allah says, quoting what Jesus, said to the people of Maryam in the cradle: «وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ رَبِّی وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِیمٌ(٣٦)» “And truly, Allah is my Lord and your Lord; So, worship Him, this is the straight path [whoever follows it will be guided and whoever opposes it will go astray].”
Discrepancy of people of book about Jesus
Almighty Allah says: «فَاخْتَلَفَ الْأَحْزَابُ مِن بَینِهِمْ فَوَیلٌ لِّلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا مِن مَّشْهَدِ یوْمٍ عَظِیمٍ» “The groups of the People of Book [about Jesus] disagreed with each other. Woe to the unbelievers when they face the Great Day (Judgement Day).”
After it became clear that Jesus, is Allah’s servant and his messenger, and that he is a word and a spirit from Allah that was inspired to Maryam, the people of book had differences and expressed different opinions about him:
The Jewish leaders considered him to be a child of adultery and his speech in the cradle was magic, some others believed that it was Allah who spoke in the cradle, not Jesus; Some called him the son of Allah, and some believed to the Trinity. Some also said: Jesus is Allah’s servant and His messenger, and this is the true word that Allah has guided the believers to, and Allah has given other groups apart from this group, who have gone astray about Jesus and have lied to Allah and claimed that Jesus is the son of Allah. has severely threatened and given them a deadline until the Day of Judgment.
