Hazrat Firouz Dilmi, “may Allah have mercy on him” (Part One)
The Name and Lineage of Hazrat Firouz Dilmi, (may Allah be pleased with him).
Keywords: Sahaba, Firouz, Dilmi, Fars, Sanaa, Yemen.
    Introduction:
Sahabahalogy is a science that every Muslim person needs. Anyone who claims faith and belief in the Prophet of Mercy, the Last Prophet, and the Messenger of the Lord of the Worlds, peace be upon him, surely needs this blessed knowledge in order to improve their capacity for faith, develop religious humility, and progress in their spiritual dimensions. Because all the noble companions of the Prophet, may Allah be pleased with them, have been the stars of the candle of the mission and have been watered from the abundant fountain of the mission and have received spiritual sips and abundant happiness.
From many Islamic books and sources, we get the concept that the Companions of the Prophet, may Allah bless them all, are like the stars of guidance. If we follow one of them, we will be guided and we will reach our destination and we will get a lot of good from the religion of Islam.
If we take a look at the history of the companions of Mustafa, (peace be upon him), and the great men of thought and history, we will find that each of them had a different life. Some chose an ascetic life, such as Syedna Abu Zar Ghafari, (may Allah be pleased with him), and others chose a jihadist life, such as Syedna Khalid ibn Walid, (may Allah be pleased with him). other chose a scholarly life such as: Hazrat Syedna Abdullah Ibn Masoud, may Allah be pleased with him, and some were in the service of the Prophet, (peace be upon him); Like Syedna Anas ibn Malik, (may Allah be pleased with him), and others.
In short, in every dimension of human life, the Companions of the Prophet (may Allah bless them and grant him peace) are perfect and we can trust and follow them in every part of our lives. Because all of them followed the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and did not disobey for a moment and followed in the footsteps of his Prophet (PBUH) and did not pay attention to the blame of anyone who blames him.
In this section of articles, we want to go to the house of another great man of history and thinker; He is a character that is not too much famous and is less mentioned in history books. In this article, we will talk about the life of Hazrat Syedna Firouz Dilmi, may Allah be pleased with him.
    Reasons for choosing this topic
In the minds of some readers, the question will be raised, why did I choose this topic, while there are more high-ranking people whose lives should be written?
In response to this question, it should be said that I have chosen this subject for the following reasons:
    1. He is mentioned less in meetings and ceremonies.
    2. Among the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him), he was also of Persian descent; While most people think that only Syedna Salman, (may Allah be pleased with him), was of Persian origin.
    3. Some people confuse him with the killer of Syedna Umar Farooq MAPH, whose name was “Firooz Abullulu”. They also object and hate this name; Even some Muslims forbade people from giving this name and those who were given this name changed their names.
One day I was teaching the subject of jurisprudence, and I was fascinated by the diligence and effort of one of the students who came to the school from Faryab province of Afghanistan to learn the sciences of prophecy. I also asked him his name and he said that his name is Firouz. Some of his classmates smiled upon hearing this name and pretended that this name is the name of the killer of Hazrat Umar. So, he should change his name.
At that time, I thought that it would be very good if some research was done about this Jalil al-Qadr companion. Until a few days ago, I was reading the beautiful book “Portrait of the Life of the Companions”, and I came across some aspects of the life of this honorable man; But only some aspects of his life after Islam were mentioned and nothing was mentioned about his life before Islam and his lineage.
After reading this book, I started to collect sources and research about the life of Syedna Firouz Dilmi, may Allah be pleased with him, and I made his life a subject of writing.
I hope that Almighty Allah will count us among the true followers of these nobles and gather with them.
    Abstract
His name is Firouz and his father’s name is Dilmi. In his lineage, there is a difference between biographers and historians, the result of which is as follows; He is originally from Fars and his ancestors were followers of the Persian government of Iran. Kasra sends them to Yemen to expand his territory, his ancestors try to separate the land of Abyssinia from Yemen. The father of this honorable companion married the sister of King Najashi of Abyssinia, and the result of their marriage was Hazrat Firouz Dilmi. In this sense, many historians consider him to be from the Hamir tribe and from the Bani Zaba tribe.
