The biography of Syedna Osman bin Affan, may Allah be pleased with him. (1st part)
Keywords: Osman, Affan, Khalifa, Prophet, Zil -Norin.
Abstract:
According to the opinion of the president of the scholars of “Ahl al-Sunnah and Al-Jama’ah,” Syedna Osman bin Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, is the third caliph of the four righteous caliphs. Since he married the two daughters of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, one after the other, he was nicknamed “Zil-Norin.”
Regarding his modesty, prophet (PBUH) said: “Angels are shy about Osman.”
One of his valuable services for the Islamic Ummah was the collection, arrangement, and organization of the great Quran.
After his martyrdom, the Islamic Ummah faced various problems and seditions.
Since the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, is the last prophet, and the chain of sending prophets ended with him, and his religion and teachings are eternal, they should serve as a torch for humanity until the Day of judgment. Allah Almighty chose the best people after the prophets, the beloved Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, for this holy and noble task.
The Companions of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, were deceased individuals who sacrificed their lives, property, wealth, and honor during his lifetime. They humbled the world’s greatest superpowers (Iran and Rome) and forced the greatest tyrants and rebels to surrender. They faced the most severe test after the Prophet’s death, deprived of his leadership.
Among the noble companions, four great and righteous caliphs shine as bright stars: Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq, Hazrat Umar Farooq, Hazrat Osman Zil -Nurain, and Hazrat Ali Murtaza. They exemplify greatness, prudence, justice, and fortitude, standing firm against challenges and conspiracies.
