    Satanism (Part 20)
    9.1. The Satanic Scriptures:
The Satanic Scriptures, written by Peter H. Gilmore, the High Priest of the Church of Satan, was published in 2007.
    2. Rituals :
One of the fundamental aspects of sects, religions, and faiths—whether materialistic or divine—is their specific rituals and ceremonies. The Satanic sect also has its own practices, rituals, and ceremonies, some of which are detailed below:
    2.1. Sacrifice :
According to some sources, one of the practices of the Satanic sect is sacrifice and bloodshed, as blood is seen as the embodiment of life and power. In ancient times, sacrifices were performed during events like solar and lunar eclipses, based on the belief that Satan, the god of darkness, was angry with humans and awaited offerings. If no sacrifices were made, it was feared that Satan would annihilate all humans. To appease Satan, human sacrifices were performed.
These ceremonies were particularly common among tribes in South America. Archaeological findings confirm the existence of such rituals, with specialized rooms for sacrifices, built and decorated in unique ways.
In ancient tribes, the ritual of human sacrifice followed a specific process: a person designated for sacrifice was chosen a year in advance. They were treated as sacred during this period and provided with all the comforts of life. On the appointed day, they were paraded through streets and marketplaces before being taken to the temple. Five specially dressed priests, clad in black, conducted the terrifying ritual. The person was laid on the sacrificial stone, with four priests holding their limbs and another holding their head. The chief priest, dressed in red, would then drive a special blade into their chest in a sudden motion, removing the still-beating heart and offering it to the idol to seek its acceptance and avert its wrath.
Modern Satanists conduct human sacrifices in completely dark settings. The victim is bathed in sacred water and laid on an altar. They are usually rendered unconscious before the ritual. In the most complete form of the ritual, the victim is killed, their blood is consumed, and the body is burned. During the ceremony, specific chants are recited in a nonsensical language, sometimes in Hebrew.
2.2. Black Mass or Satanic: Congregation Prayer
This is one of the most significant rituals in Satanism, conducted in the Church of Satan. It mirrors the Christian Eucharist ceremony but with all actions performed in reverse. In the Eucharist, Christians receive consecrated bread and wine, which they believe represent the body and blood of Christ (peace be upon him).
In the Black Mass, Satanic priests and participants, often nude, recite prayers and hymns backwards. For example, references to heaven and beauty are replaced with mentions of hell and ugliness. Whenever the name of God or Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) is mentioned, blasphemous actions are performed. Initially, the Black Mass was intended solely to insult Christianity and its practices, but it eventually incorporated sexual acts and even the killing of innocent children. This ritual, considered one of the most heinous of Satanic practices, involves nonsensical, unreasoned, and superstitious actions, accompanied by readings of prayers with Satanic content. Symbols such as the inverted pentagram, skulls, wine, blood, candles, black cloths, and fire basins are also employed.
2.3. Initiation of New Members :
This ceremony consists of various actions performed by the priest of the Church of Satan or their spouse. It is similar to rituals in witchcraft. The ceremony includes five sacred kisses placed on the body of the initiate. These kisses signify blessings, sanctity among Satanists, gratitude for joining the group, and the final acceptance into the sect.
    2.4. Sexual Rites :
Satanists place significant emphasis on sexual acts, often involving violence, which reflects deep psychological and emotional disturbances. Diseases like AIDS are notably prevalent among them. After performing these sexual rites, they seek the assistance of Satan to achieve their goals.
2.5. Attaining Dark Powers: This ritual aims to draw energy from the hidden forces of darkness. Satanists seek to harness immense energy to elevate their spirit and compensate for their deficiencies. The requirements for this ritual are detailed in their writings.
