The Issue of Violence; A Challenge of the Modern World (Part One)
One of the major challenges of today’s world is the issue of violence. Why is Europe burning in the fires of war and insecurity? Why are social violence and devastating wars still spreading in the West?
A review of the achievements of modern man is terrifying: the Vietnam War, the massacre of Muslims in Bosnia, the violence of the apartheid regime, the atomic attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the horrific crimes committed by the Allies and the Axis powers during World War II, the forced labor camps under Soviet domination and its invasion of Afghanistan, the occupation of Afghanistan by NATO, the war in Ukraine, and the genocide of Palestinian Muslims in the Gaza Strip—along with dozens of other catastrophes mark the dark record of contemporary humanity.
Why, truly, has the spirit of humanity in both East and West become so deeply entangled in the madness of savagery? Why has humankind become so enamored with violence?
Answering these questions is impossible without examining the environment in which modern man has grown. Therefore, an inquiry into the tragic state of the psyche, mindset, and interests of secular nations reveals the reasons behind the terrifying rise in violence.
In the secular world, the display of brutal images stemming from the sick fantasies of writers and screenwriters—recreated by the animalistic creativity of film directors—is considered a form of artistic performance in the cinema industries of both East and West. They worship the hardness of the heart; war, to them, is a source of excitement and entertainment.
Art holds value in the West; hundreds of horrors, war, and slasher films are produced annually, filled with horrifying scenes of dismemberment, corpse mutilation, live burials, vampirism, and cannibalism. The annual production of official “horror films” alone increased from about 500 in 2008 to over 750 in 2020. These films are widely screened in cinemas around the world, sold in stores, and streamed on television and online platforms, providing psychological and mental nourishment to secular masses.
People wait in long lines for hours at cinema doors to buy tickets. They stare at the screen with a strange eagerness and excitement to watch reconstructed scenes of a human being suffering, whose body is sawed in half by a mysterious madman wielding a chainsaw, spilling his intestines.
But what is the cost of satisfying the psychological appetite of secularists?
In 2022, the global cinema box office revenue reached $26 billion, showing a 27% increase compared to 2021. With the dubbing and distribution of this content in the Islamic world, the security of Muslims is increasingly deteriorating into a critical and “democratic” condition. However, the promotion of violence and murder is not limited to the injection of “cinematic secularism.”
Gaming tools (PlayStations, Xboxes, etc.), through the production of games involving killing, armed robbery, zombies, the slaughter of Muslims, and warfare, teach democracy through direct role-playing and vivid virtual simulations—making the audience practically accustomed to secular culture through active mental and emotional participation.
Democratic madness knows no limits.
