Fascism in the Form of Political Thought (1st Part)
Abstract
It can be said that bringing together political ideas for the regulation and prosperity of human society represents the peak of human wisdom and rationality; this, in itself, is considered a significant development in the history of humanity. However, among these political ideas, there are several that have caused more harm than good, leaving hardships and pain that cannot be erased from the annals of history. One such man-made catastrophe is fascism. With the direction and ideology propagated by Mussolini, fascism has left a dark mark on the political history of humanity.
The fundamental question arises: What kind of idea is fascism, and on what foundations is it built? Through the use of library sources and a descriptive-analytical methodology, it has been found that the foundations of fascism’s political thought are grounded in immoral justifications. Autocratic and narrow-minded individuals, like Mussolini and Hitler, have used this ideology as an excuse to inflict endless suffering and pain upon society. Furthermore, although there are currently no fixed or visible examples of fascism, its harsh and unbearable remnants can still be observed in the political relationships and power-seeking behavior of some leaders around the world.
Keywords: fascism, political thought, Mussolini, anti-intellectualism.
