    Morjaeh sect (Part 26)
    Degeneracy and decline of Morjaeh
    1. The period of decline of this sect, after several centuries of activity and gaining many followers from different Islamic lands, began with the fall of the Umayyad dynasty and the rise of the Abbasid dynasty, and finally ended its activities. The rise of Bani Abbas government led to the destruction of Morjaeh for two reasons:
    2. The Abbasids considered Morjaeh to be the friends and supporters of the Umayyads. The opposition of the Abbasids to the Umayyads was considered to be a kind of opposition to the Morjaeh, and with the destruction of the Umayyads, the Morjaeh also lost its importance and prestige.
This reason has been confirmed by some historians, such as: Ahmad Amin and Noman Al-Qazi; They also consider the reason for the extinction of Morjaeh to be the opposition of the Abbasids to the Umayyads.
    3. When the Abbasids came to power, the Ahl al-Hadith religion was recognized, and the role of other sects, including the Morjaeh, was diminished and extinct. The point worth mentioning is that their religious thoughts and ideas were digested in other sects and were never completely destroyed.
    summary and Conclusion
The Morjaeh Sect arrived in the midst of political conflicts after the death of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, and by not judging Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Muawiya, may Allah be pleased with him. This sect, which was created due to the social situation of that time and in front of the extreme extremism of the Khawarij, during the stages of its development, it was welcomed by a large number of Muslims, especially the new Muslims and Mowali; Then, by justifying the actions of the Islamic rulers and preventing the people from any intervention and corrective action, they were drawn to laziness and disrespecting Islamic actions and rulings. The Umayyad rulers also used this idea to justify their atrocities and based their legitimacy on the beliefs of this group.
It is true that the negative effects of the Umayyads were able to contain the durability of the Umayyad rule to some extent, but this idea also had other different results, which were hidden in the two-sided nature of this idea in their interaction and confrontation with the Umayyads. Certainly, the Umayyad rulers also helped in the spread of Morjaen’s ideas because the Morjaeh were the only sect that considered them believers, and they needed this quality more than anything else.
Especially in a situation where the Kharijites were infidels and the companions of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, emphasized that the Umayyads were transgressors, and the Mu’tazila ruled that faith consists of believing and acting on the obligations and all its commands, and whoever does not follow them, even though they all If he believes in the pillars and principles of Islam, he deserves solitude in hell. The only sect that approved the actions of the Umayyads was the Morjaeh sect.
In most of the books related to nations and peoples and the works of Islamic theologians and historians, the Morjaeh was based on historical evidence, they were sects whose beliefs were introduced whether they wanted it or not, in line with the policies of the Umayyads and in line with their actions; Therefore, in these books, sometimes they are mentioned in harsh terms and the danger of this group has been pointed out to Muslims. In confirmation of this article, it can be added that the golden age and expansion of the Morjaeh sect was during the Umayyad rule, and with the weakness of the Umayyad power, history witnessed the decline of this sect.
Many of the wrong thinking, abandonment of duties, oppression and wars that have taken place in the name of Islam and actually against Islam, have their roots in the thought of Arja and Arjai; This sectarian and intellectual flow can be considered as one of the practical obstacles of Islam on the way to attaining the happiness and salvation of the universalization of this religion.
So far, the topic of the old Morjaeh has been explained, in the next part, which will be the final part (Allah willing), we will try to express the beliefs, opinions and thoughts of the Morjaeh that have penetrated between societies in the present era.
