A High-Level Delegation of Uzbek Scholars Visits the Kalemaat Academic and Research Organization
On the evening of 20 Rabiʿ al-Thani 1448 AH, a 15-member high-level delegation, headed by Sheikh Mufti Hamidjon Ishmatbekov, First Deputy Chairman of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, visited the Kalemaat Academic and Research Organization and toured its various departments.
The delegation included the Deputy Grand Mufti of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan; officials from the Imam al-Bukhari, Imam al-Tirmidhi, and Imam al-Maturidi Research Centers (may Allah have mercy on them); and a number of distinguished scholars and academic figures from the Afghanistan Science Academy.
The delegation expressed its satisfaction with the activities and achievements of the Kalemaat Academic and Research Organization and emphasized the need to expand bilateral academic and research cooperation in various fields.
The leadership of the Kalemaat Academic and Research Organization warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed their appreciation for the visit. They likewise called for broader bilateral cooperation and stressed the importance of continuing joint efforts to further strengthen academic and scholarly ties.
At the conclusion of the visit, a number of academic and research works published by the organization were presented to the members of the delegation as gifts.
It is worth noting that the Kalemaat Academic and Research Organization has previously signed memoranda of understanding on academic and research cooperation with scholars and representatives from various Islamic countries.
