The Biography of the sword of Allah, “Khalid bin Walid, MAPH” (Part 48)
Hazrat Khalid, MAPH, in Sham City
Hazrat Syedna Khalid, MAPH, stayed in Iraq for one year and two months, from Muharram of the 12th year of Hijri to Safar of the 13th year of Hijri. During this period, he fought fifteen battles, defeating the enemy each time, destroying their armies, and instilling fear and terror in their hearts.
When his sharp sword was drawn from its scabbard, it would not return without conquest and victory; thus, no unbeliever or hypocrite was safe from it.
He wanted to proceed in the same way and reached the other side of the borders of Iran and Persians and raised the flag of dear Islam in the mountains of Hindu Kush and Pamir. Syedna Khalid Ibn Walid was focused on this; But the Iranians did not pay much attention to this superman of conquest and victory; As Sheikh Abu Zaid Shalabi writes: In the past, Iraqi Arabs used to look at the Persians with greatness, awe, and honor, and the ultimate honor and wish of an Arab was to be able to stand at the door of a palace and obtain permission to prostrate to the king. On the other hand, the Iranians did not value the Arabs, even though they suffered successive defeats from Syedna Khalid, MAPH, they did not pay attention to them.
As we mentioned in the previous articles, in the battle of “Alice” even though the Muslims were approaching the Iranians, they spread a big table and were busy eating without paying attention to the Muslims.
When Syedna Khalid, MAPH, faced the Persians, he showed them that the Arab nation has completely changed and that they have the ability and talent to take on the role of leadership after Allah, the Exalted, sent His Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to favor them and taking over the human society. In this case, whether the Persians want it or not, they must be subject to the command and administration of this nation.
Hazrat Seyyedna Khalid, MAPH, showed to Iranians that farmers, the poor and the oppressed are also human beings and they should receive their rights and they are not different from their nobles and landlords. He also pointed out that humans are all children of Adam “MAPH” and have no superiority over each other.
