Why are they afraid of our unity?
Human history shows the realities of peoples, civilizations, and the big and small clashes around the world. Sometimes it shows the power and wealth of nations, and sometimes — though less often — it reveals the suffering and injustice done to some peoples. For a few, this history becomes a true motivation, but most people ignore this reality.
From the start, Islam has been beyond any single tribe or region. It speaks to people as human beings. It does not give special status to things like skin color, tribe, race, or homeland when asking people to accept it. Instead, Islam came as the religion of God, with a complete system, to guide people who had gone astray. It was revealed to the Messenger of God (peace be upon him) for the guidance of all humanity.
After thirteen years of the Prophet’s call and his companions, Islam became a state in the land of Yathrib (Medina). Day by day this power grew. During the era of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs and later rulers, that state expanded across wide lands — reaching parts of Africa, Europe, and Asia. This strong, just, and unbeaten state kept an order in the world. People living under it — both Muslims and non-Muslims — lived in a just and peaceful environment and were proud to live under the blessed banner of Islam. The state was not only a real shield for the Muslim community, it also offered a program for humanity and canceled the corrupt and inhumane policies of some European rulers with its single clear message.
When Muslims lived under one state, they could live safely in any corner of the world under Islam’s protection. Back then there were no modern country names and divisions like today — the Ummah (community) was one: one land, shared borders, shared values, and one state.
Today, we have much more than before. Our natural resources and opportunities are far greater, and there are countless talents and capacities among us. But we also face a more dangerous and watchful rival, and we live with artificial, colonial borders. Can we return to our original history and civilization — the history written with golden pages and the precious inheritance of this Ummah?
A short look at the bright history of the Islamic Ummah shows: if the Ummah is united, colonialism and exploitation cannot survive. Our natural and maritime resources and strategic areas will not be used against us. No one will be able to plunder our oil, gas, uranium, lithium, and other resources. There will be no place for spies, hired agents, or puppets in our lands. Empty and false ideologies will find no foothold among us. Our lands will not turn into markets for weapons, drugs, alcohol, or tools of moral decay. The energy of the Ummah will not be limited by fake borders. The armies of the Ummah will not be busy fighting and killing each other.
So can the West or the East stand against this Ummah — a community of billions, with resources and strength, and a complete, shared origin that could reunite at any time? The West understands this, so it uses every means to create obstacles against our unity because it fears us. In time it will pay for its crimes, betrayals, and extortion — God willing.
