    Remembering Death

    Remembering Death

It is narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “If animals knew about death as much as you know, you would never eat the fat and fleshy meat of them.” [1]
    Hadith Message:
If a person truly understood the reality of death, his heart would become less attached to this world, and he would think more about the Hereafter. Remembering death awakens the heart and prepares us to meet Allah (SWT).
    [1] Al-Marwazi, Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak, Al-Zuhd wa al-Raqaiq, p. 464, Hadith no. 152, al-Maktabah al-Haqqaniyyah, Peshawar, n.d.
