    Prohibited Oaths

Abd al-Rahman ibn Samurah (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “Do not swear by your fathers or by false deities.” [1]
    Hadith Message:
A believer should have the greatness of Allah (SWT) in his heart. Therefore, an oath should be taken only in the name of Allah (SWT), and we should not swear by the name of any created being.
