Section: Seven
After describing the brief history of the Khawarij, now we will discuss the words of Khair al-Bariyyah, peace and blessings of God be upon him, about this rebellious people with violence, murder, destruction, etc., so that everyone, especially those who are in the ranks of jihad, can see and measure themselves in its scale Hadiths regarding the “Khawarij” sect, then we state and prove their principles and attributes from the Prophetic Sunnah and their history. Therefore, at the beginning, we will briefly describe the hadiths, and in the next chapter, we will argue from these texts by proving their principles and vices.
The first hadith: “It is narrated from Hazrat Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, that he said: If I were thrown from the sky to the earth, it would be easier for me than that When narrating a narration from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, I falsely attribute something to the Prophet, whenever I speak about what concerns you and me, you should know that war is a trick and a tactic [in war, it is necessary to respect the public interest] I also heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say: At the end of time, there will come people who are young and thoughtless, they will talk about the best, that is, they will read the Qur’an and they will leave Islam quickly, just like an arrow quickly leaves the body of a hunting, their faith will not exceed their throats, only They are Muslims with their tongue and not with their heart, kill them wherever you reach them, killing them on the Day of Resurrection will be a reward for the one who kills them.” : [The narrator: Ali bin Abi Talib, al-Bukhari, Sahih al-Bukhari 3611, Sahih, Kharjah Al-Bukhari 3611, and Muslim 1066]
The second hadith: ” It is narrated from Yasir bin Amr, he said: I said to Sahl bin Hanif, “Have you heard anything about the Khawarij from the Prophet, peace be upon him? He said: I heard him saying and stretching towards Iraq, from this side there are people who read the Quran, but its effect does not exceed their throats, they quickly leave Islam, just as an arrow quickly leaves the body of Hunting”. [Al-Ravi: Sahl bin Hanif, Al-Bukhari, Sahih Al-Bukhari 6934, Sahih]
The third hadith: “Abu Dharr Ghafari, May God be pleased with him, said that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Verily, after me, people will come from my ummah, they will read the Qur’an, but its effect will not exceed their throats.” They leave Islam, like an arrow quickly leaves the body of hunting, they do not return to religion, and these are the worst creatures on earth”. [Narrated by: Abu Dharr al-Ghafari, Muslim, Sahih Muslim (1067), Sahih]
The fourth hadith: “it is narrated from Abu Saeed Al-Khudri that he said: I heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him): There will be a people among you who consider your prayers, fasting, and actions to be insignificant compared to their prayers, fasting, and actions, they read the Quran; but its effect does not go beyond their throats, they leave their religion, just as an arrow leaves the body of hunting, such an arrow that a hunter throws with great power and speed towards the prey, and the arrow leaves its body with speed, when the hunter picks up the arrow, examines its iron part, and sees no traces of animal blood on it; Then he observes the wooden part of it, again he does not see any trace of blood on it, then he looks at the blades of the arrow but he does not see anything, the hunter from the bow doubts whether he has the power to shoot the arrow and whether the arrow hit the prey or not? [Narrator: Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, Al-Bukhari, Sahih Al-Bukhari 5058, Sahih]
The fifth hadith: “Anas bin Malik and Abu Saeed Khudri, may God be pleased with them, narrated that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Dissension and division will arise among my Ummah, people will come whose words are beautiful, but their actions are ugly, they read the Qur’an, but its effect does not exceed their throats, they leave the religion, just as the arrow leaves the body of the hunting, they do not return to the religion until the arrow returns to the bow, they are the worst creatures, blessed are those who kill them or are killed by them, they call to the Book of Allah, but they themselves, do not have attention and commitment, and whoever fights against them is more beloved and closer to Allah than this group of people. They said, O Messenger of Allah! What is their sign? The Messenger of Allah said: Their heads are shaved.”[Narrator: Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, Anas bin Malik and Aws, Sahih Al-Jami’ 3668, Sahih]
The sixth hadith: “Abu Ghalib narrated on the authority of Abi Imamah Bahli, may God be pleased with him, that he said about the Khawarij: the worst slain under the sky and the best murderer who killed them, they are the dogs of hell, they were Muslims and turned to disbelief, I said, O Abu Imamah, this is what you said Are you talking about them? Abu Umamah said: No; Rather, I heard this from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.” [Narrator: Abu Umamah Al-Bahili, Ibn Majah 146, Hassan, narrated by Ibn Majah 176 and the wording is his, and Ahmad 22183]

The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, had stated the characteristics of a group of men, whose characteristics I know, they speak the truth, but it does not transgress from here, he pointed to his throat, they are among the worst servants of Allah Almighty towards him.” [Narrator: Ali bin Abi Talib, Muslim, Sahih Muslim 1066, Sahih]
The eighth hadith: It is narrated from Muslim bin Abi Bakra that a man asked him, “Have you heard anything about the Khawarij?” He said: I heard from my father, Abu Bakra, that he quoted the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: Be aware that there will come from my Ummah some people who are harsh and aggressive, and the Qur’an is on their tongues, but it does not exceed their throat, be aware! When you see them; so try to demolish and kill them, their killer is permissible with Allah. [Rawi: Abu Bakr al-Nafi’ ibn al-Harith, Shu’ayb al-Arnawt, Takhrij al-Musnad al-Shu’ayb (20446), strong isnaad on the condition of Muslim, narrated by Ahmad 20446 and words from it, and Ibn Abi ‘Asim in the Sunnah 937, Wal-Bazar 3676]

Yazid said, “I don’t know except that he said: One of you knows little about his actions compared to theirs. They will kill the people of Islam. When these people appear, kill them. May the one who killed them be happy and Blessed or the one who was killed by them, whenever the horn of power and their power clashed, may Allah Almighty destroy it, the Messenger of Allah repeated this sentence more than twenty times and I could hear it. The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, repeated this sentence more than twenty times, until the last of this people will appear at the same time as Dajjal. In a narration from Ahmad, it is stated: People will come from the east who read the Quran; but it does not exceed their throats, whenever they collapse once, they will emerge again and at another time, until Dajjal appears with another group of them.” [Tabrani, Abdullah ibn ‘Amr, al-Haythami, Men of Men of Trust, Majma’ al-Zawaid: 6/233].

The narrator said: Abu Bakr Siddiq went to him. He returned twice to the presence of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said to Omar: Go kill him. Hazrat Omar went to that person and saw him in the same condition that Hazrat Abu Bakr had seen him. Hazrat Omar also returned and said: O Messenger of God, I saw him humbly praying, and I thought it was distasteful to kill him. The Holy Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to Ali, may God be pleased with him, go and kill him! Hazrat Ali, may God be pleased with him, went to the same person’s place; but he did not see that person, he returned to the presence of the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, and said: O Messenger of God, I did not see him.
