    Freemasonry (part 51)
How to Confront Freemasonry and Hostile Influences?
In this section, we examine ways and approaches that guide a Muslim individual toward addressing ideological and social challenges in the world—especially in Islamic societies. What follows is a set of responsibilities and practical measures aimed at strengthening society, increasing awareness, and reducing harmful influences.
    1. Organizing Educational Programs
The first step is to review and improve the educational system, because children are the pillars of the community and the foundation of the future. Care must be taken in what is taught to them so that, first, their moral character is strengthened, and second, their intellectual and scientific growth is enhanced.
It is important to ensure that education aligns with cultural and religious identity while also benefiting from useful global knowledge. Islamic civilization itself has a rich tradition of values, ethics, and intellectual contributions that can support both personal development and societal progress.
However, in some contexts, there has been a shift away from authentic local models toward external ones, sometimes without critical evaluation. As a result, historical Islamic figures and role models may be overlooked, while foreign models are uncritically promoted.
Concepts such as freedom, justice, and progress should be taught in a balanced way, including both universal perspectives and the rich interpretations found within Islamic thought. Islam offers a comprehensive framework that emphasizes justice, social solidarity, and ethical progress.
This situation reflects a broader challenge related to identity and cultural confidence. Instead of relying solely on external models, societies can benefit from engaging their own intellectual and moral heritage while also participating in global development.
Historically, Muslims achieved a balance between material advancement and moral values, leading to significant accomplishments. Strengthening this balance again requires giving proper importance to ethical and religious education alongside modern sciences.
In addition, equal access to education and opportunity should be based on merit. When positions and opportunities are given based on favoritism or personal connections rather than competence, it weakens institutions and discourages capable individuals.
At the same time, addressing social issues—especially among youth—is essential. Providing healthy environments, constructive programs, and positive role models helps build responsibility, dignity, and moral integrity in the younger generation, who will shape the future.
Therefore, reforming education, creating healthy social environments, and reinforcing ethical values are essential steps for strengthening society and addressing challenges effectively.
    1. Administrative and Economic Reform
The second area focuses on improving administrative and economic systems. One of the most important principles in governance is placing the right person in the right position. When this principle is ignored and positions are assigned based on personal interests or connections, it leads to inefficiency and corruption.
Such conditions weaken productive sectors, reduce efficiency, and increase economic problems. Issues like financial corruption, misuse of public resources, and inequality can grow, creating a gap between different social groups.
A weak economic system also reduces a society’s ability to respond to external pressures. Economic strength is closely linked to independence, stability, and resilience.
Therefore, meaningful reforms are needed, including:
    • Establishing justice and rule of law for all
    • Ensuring transparency and accountability
    • Respecting the dignity of citizens
    • Supporting local production
    • Strengthening agriculture and industry
Only through such balanced reforms can a society achieve stability, progress, and the ability to face challenges with confidence.
    To be continued…
