A Brief Look at the Doctrines and Beliefs of the Druze Sect (part one)
    Abstract:
Since the dawn of Islam on earth, its enemies, [Jews, Crusaders, Magians, etc.] have always planned seditions and conspiracies against this pure religion, and have tried to shake its foundations, create doubts in its obligations, diminish the status of the Holy Prophet of Islam (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and extinguish its light.
For this reason, poisonous daggers were plunged into the body of the Islamic Ummah one after another by these enemies. The first of these daggers was the movement of apostasy from Islam after the death of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), which the first Caliph, Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him), stood firmly and powerfully against; a movement that had been planned by the Magians and Jews.
When the enemies realized that this method was not effective and they did not succeed in disintegrating this community, they adopted another method to insert their poisonous dagger; this time Abdullah ibn Saba, a vengeful Jew, entered the field. He tried to spread his poison and deviant thoughts by pretending to love Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and the Ahl al-Bayt.
In fact, Ibn Saba became the teacher of all the sects that emerged after him, because he proposed atheistic ideas.
One of the designed sects and the poisonous dagger of the enemy is the sect of the “Druze”, this sect is one of the groups that emerged in the context of Islamic societies and claims a special understanding of religion and Sharia. This sect has distanced itself from the main principles of Islam with its specific interpretations, sometimes mixed with innovations and false beliefs. In this article, an attempt is made to examine the views, beliefs and practices of this group and measure them against the standards of the Quran, the authentic Sunnah and the understanding of the righteous predecessors.
Considering the multitude of misguided and deviant sects that have emerged among Muslims and have been planted like a dagger in the body of Islamic society – such as this sect and the sects of the Nusayris, Ismailis, Baha’is and others – and also due to the ignorance of many Muslims about the truth of these sects, to the extent that some consider them to be Islamic sects, I decided to choose the subject of “Druze beliefs” and I will try to clarify the truth of this sect for all Muslims, so that truth from falsehood becomes clear to them.
Finally, I will discuss how the Druze sect emerged during the reign of Al-Hakim Bi Amr Allah, at the hands of Al-Druzi and Hamzah ibn Ali, and I will also point out many of the beliefs that the Druze adopted from Ismailism.
Keywords: Druze, history of origin, beliefs, residence, criticism of it.
    Introduction
Islam is a religion that is based on divine revelation, sound rationality, and the established Sunnah of the noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). By the revelation of the Holy Quran and the precise and enlightening explanations of the last Prophet, this religion has drawn a comprehensive road map to guide humanity and will respond to all the material and spiritual needs of humans until the Day of Judgment. However, throughout the history of the Islamic Ummah, groups have always emerged that, instead of adhering to the solid principles of religion and accepting the beloved Islam that provides them with honor in this world and the hereafter and saves them from spiritual, sensual, and satanic slavery, have tended towards personal perceptions, individual inspirations, and unsubstantiated claims, and have abandoned a life far from honor and comfort. This has led to the formation of various sects and movements that not only led to their own misguidance and destruction; Rather, they are always trying to mislead others and divert humanity from the right path and salvation.
One of these misguided sects and groups that have always been and are trying to harm Islam and Muslims and are like-minded and co-conspirators with bloodthirsty and brutal Zionism, and their order and authority (are the Jews); is the sect called “Druze” who, by claiming to have attained special knowledge, unique mystical experiences, guiding dreams and personal inspirations, are trying to establish a spiritual position and intellectual authority for themselves. This group, relying on vague and often unsupported statements and interpretations, leads its followers to a path that in many cases is not consistent with religious frameworks, rational rules and scientific criteria.
The aforementioned sect is not only faced with ambiguities and contradictions in its ideological principles; In social behavior and religious rituals, it sometimes goes to extremes or excesses that can have dangerous consequences for society at the intellectual, moral, and even political levels. Relying on dreams instead of revelation texts, preferring emotions over rational arguments, and unquestioning obedience to specific personalities who consider themselves the owners of revelation and inspiration are among the characteristics that have exposed this movement to serious criticism.
Since the soundness of belief and preserving the authenticity of religion is a religious and intellectual duty for every Muslim, a detailed understanding of this sect and revealing its intellectual and behavioral dimensions is an important step towards religious enlightenment, protecting the boundaries of belief, and preventing the spread of innovations. Examining the intellectual foundations, epistemological sources, specific claims, and social consequences of this movement helps us to accurately identify the roots of this misguided sect and become aware of its beliefs and convictions.
In this brief article, I have attempted to examine and analyze various aspects of this sect from a scientific and documented perspective, so that its true face is revealed to everyone and society becomes aware of the deviant danger of this group and avoids it.
