The Importance of Orphan Care in Islam (Part Two)
    Social effects of orphan care:
    1. Reducing social harm
Orphans may be exposed to more social harm due to the loss of their parents, and lack of support for these people can lead to problems such as:
Propensity to crime and corruption: If orphans are not guided properly, they may be exposed to social harm and turn to delinquency and crime in adulthood.
Increase of addiction: In some cases, orphans resort to drugs or alcohol to escape emotional and social problems.
Domestic violence: If orphans are not raised properly, they may engage in aggressive and violent behavior in adulthood.
These harms can be prevented by properly supporting orphans, and they can be raised as positive individuals in society.
    2. Strengthening social solidarity and a sense of responsibility
Supporting orphans is not only an individual responsibility; It is also considered a social responsibility. When society pays attention to orphans, this can lead to:
Creating a sense of empathy: Attention to orphans, especially from people who have families themselves, strengthens a sense of empathy and social solidarity.
Strengthening social responsibility: A society that supports orphans usually has a higher level of social responsibility, people in such societies are more concerned about the general welfare and the needy.
    3. Preventing family breakdown
Orphan care usually takes the form of supporting neglected children, which can have positive effects on other families, such as the following:
Strengthening family relationships: Families that take responsibility for orphans usually strengthen their relationships in the process of raising these children and indirectly strengthen a culture of respect and responsibility in their own family.
Modeling family solidarity: Supporting orphans at the family level can be a model for other families to strengthen responsibility and solidarity in their families.
    4. Impact on education and culture
One of the important effects of orphan care on society is its impact on education and general culture.
Expanding educational opportunities: Supporting orphans in the form of covering education costs and providing educational facilities allows these people to grow academically and contribute to the cultural and scientific progress of society.
Teaching moral values: orphan care is an opportunity to teach moral values such as empathy, respect, and responsibility to future generations. These values can be institutionalized in the culture of society and lead to progress at different levels of social life.
