    Qadriyyah Sect (Part 6)
Introduction: Warning against heretical sects and groups that have distorted and deviant beliefs is a fundamental and important principle in religion; because sitting with these groups causes its companions to be influenced by them and turn to their actions; therefore, religious scholars and elders of this nation always emphasize that a person should think about choosing righteous and good friends so that on the Day of Judgment he will not be humiliated, ashamed and regretful and confess: «یا لیتنی لم أتخذ فلانا خلیلا لقد أضلنی عن الذکر بعد إذ جاءنی» Translation: “Woe to me, I wish I had not taken so-and-so as a friend, indeed he has led me astray from the advice after he came to me.”
False and misguided sects also have the same ruling, which causes a person to choose their path by sitting with them, to be influenced by their beliefs and to be inclined towards them.
In this part of our research, we will try to examine the statements of the scholars and the righteous predecessors regarding the warning and fear of Qadriyyah group, and in the other part of this research, we will explain the different types of this sect, schools of thought, and its branches.
    Avoiding the Qadriyyah sect
Since the issue of Qadar (predestination and destiny) is a reality for the scholars of the Ahl-Sunnah and Jama’ah, and all of them are unanimous in proving it without any disagreement, believe in Qadar and consider it one of the fundamental foundations and pillars of the Islamic religion and belief; therefore, the most important advice of the scholars and the righteous predecessors for this nation is to hold on this firm and solid belief and not to stray from it in any way, and they warn the nation against those who do not believe in Qadar or have doubts about it. Although the hadiths of the Prophet (PBUH) and the sayings of the scholars and predecessors, especially the later companions (Sahaba) and noble Tabe’een, about this group have been briefly mentioned before; but here we want to discuss this issue in more detail:
    1. Imam Ahmad (MABH) narrated from Nafeh (MABH) that Ibn Umar (MABH) had a friend in Syria who used to write to him. Abdullah ibn Umar (MABH) wrote to him the following letter: “I have been informed that you have spoken about Qadar, so I do not want you to write to me from now on, because I have heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: “There will be people among my nation who deny Qadar.” This narration shows how the companions treated this group and what position this group had in their eyes! In other narrations, Ibn Umar (MABH) has various sayings about Qadriyyah; For example, this narration: “Amir al-Sha’abi (MABH) said: I heard Ibn Umar (MABH) say: I hate anyone who does not have faith in Qadar.”
    2. Hazrat Hasan Basri (MABH), one of the noble Tabe’een; who some unaware people have accused of leaning towards the Qadriyyah sect, said about the leader and founder of the Qadriyyah sect: “Do not sit with the Mahbad Jahani; for he is a misguided and misleading person.”
    3. Imam Malik (MABH) narrated from his uncle Abu Suhail ibn Malik (MABH) that he said: “I was on a journey with Umar ibn Abdul Aziz (MABH) when he asked: What is your opinion regarding the Qadriyyah group? I replied: My opinion is that this group should be asked to repent. If they repent, it is good; But if they do not repent, then all of them should be executed by the sword [i.e., they should all be killed by the sword].
Umar ibn Abdul Aziz (MABH) said: This is my view regarding them. Imam Malik (MABH) said that this is my view as well. Of course, there are many such narrations from Umar ibn Abdul Aziz (MABH), because the Qadriyyah sedition almost broke out during his time. In another place, he said: “It is appropriate to ask the Qadriyyah to repent, if they repent (it is good), otherwise they should be expelled from the Islamic country.”
    4. Sahnoun (MABH) narrated that Imam Malik (MABH) was asked about the Qadriyyah sect, and he said: “They are a very bad people. Do not sit with them.” It was asked: Shouldn’t prayer be done behind them? He said: Yes” [meaning one should not pray behind them].
    5. It was narrated from Sayyar Abi Al-Hakam (MABH) that he said: “No one should pray behind a Qadri, and if someone prays behind them, he should repeat his prayer.”
    6. Ibn Taymiyyah (MABH) said: “It is necessary to consider the Qadriyyah sect as disbelievers because they do not consider evil to be among the creation of Allah the Exalted and claim that the doer of every action is the creator of his own action.”
    7. Ayyub Al-Najjar (MABH) said: “The Qadriyyah sect was mentioned to Yahya bin Abi Kathir (MABH), and he said: Do not mention them in this gathering, because the Magi are better than them in my opinion.”
    8. Mu’amal bin Isma’il (MABH) said: I heard ‘Umarah bin Zadhan (MABH) say: “I have been informed that the Qadriyyah sect will be gathered with the polytheists on the Day of Resurrection.”
    9. Faryabi narrated from Abu Aun (MABH) that he said: I had never seen anyone more hated and disliked by Muhammad ibn Sirin (MABH) than the Qadriyyah sect.
