The Love of Mohammad Mustafa [PBUH] (Part One)
    Abstract
Undoubtedly, the love of Allah Almighty is the goal of every believer’s heart, and every Muslim strives to place the love of Allah in their heart. It is necessary for one to follow a path that ultimately leads to His pleasure, and this path is none other than the path of love for the Prophet (PBUH), whose ultimate goal is the love of Allah Almighty.
Yes! Every believer loves to attain complete faith, and it is clear that complete faith is achieved when each individual loves the honorable Prophet of Islam (PBUH) more than anything else.
Love is not just about claiming; it is also about disappearing—disappearing in the sanctuary of the beloved and following his actions and states.
Certainly, love is a calling that compels a person to do strange and wonderful things. Friendship and love remove fatigue and boredom on the way to the beloved’s mountain, and behind the curtain of problems and inconveniences lies the morning of hope and the dawn of reunion.
From this perspective, the devoted Sahaba and true lovers of Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH) would endure any difficulty in the path of pleasing their friend and attaining divine pleasure, revolving around the burning candle of Prophethood like enamored lovers.
Since the Sahaba of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) reached the truth of faith and belief in Allah Almighty and the Holy Prophet (PBUH), they enjoyed following him step by step and never considered delay in this matter permissible. They presented the most beautiful examples of love and affection in preserving the works, sayings, actions, and states of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH).
It is hoped that this writing will be accepted by the Almighty and appreciated by you, esteemed readers, and that the light of love for the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) will shine brighter in the hearts of all of us than before.
Translation: “Oh, the happy moment when I give my heart as a gift to the Prophet (PBUH) and drink the wine of his Sunnah, and my heart will be filled with joy.
What would be if Allah’s beloved bird may fly away so that I may sacrifice my soul for the roof of his grave.”
    Introduction:
Writing about the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a great honor and a high position. It brings immense joy and pleasure, and all the organs of man benefit from it in various ways; for example, the tongue is refreshed by sending blessings and discussing the life of the master of the Two Worlds (PBUH), the ears are blessed by listening to his hadiths and biography, and the intellect is amazed by the greatness of his position. A person is influenced by what is narrated in the hadiths about the Messenger (PBUH). But the heart, which is the seat of the utmost love and affection, receives the greatest and highest benefit. All limbs and organs benefit in some way from following the actions, guidance, and manners of the Prophet (PBUH).
Talking about the love of the Prophet (PBUH) is like a sea with no shore, and every speaker thinks they can express the greatness of the Prophet (PBUH) in every aspect or describe all the things that demonstrate the love of the Prophet (PBUH). But is it possible for a person to do so in a short period or in a few speeches? This is never feasible because the true expression of the status of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is beyond these efforts and will not be easily achieved. Thus, it is sufficient for us to express a little of the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to the extent that it revives our hearts, stimulates our emotions, and strengthens our will and determination, creating joy in us to establish a strong relationship with his conduct and way of life. This action would bring good and blessing in this world and, by the grace and generosity of Allah Almighty, save us from His punishment in the Hereafter.
Love for the Prophet (PBUH) is a raging sea with big waves and deep holes, filled with many gems—may we obtain some of them and benefit from them, Insha’Allah.
Although this is a difficult task because he was not an ordinary person, but the Messenger of Allah (PBUH); as the poet sings in his praise:
Translation: “He is the best child in the world, and above gratitude, and the most honored of all creations. Through him, Allah bestowed mercy on His servants, and from him, the light of truth appeared in the world. How great is my Lord who raised Muhammad and purified him with piety, knowledge, and revelation. So belief in the truth became one of his morals, and he is the best of Allah’s servants and the most patient. He openly invites to the command of Allah and gives good news, and anyone who meets him is advised with signs and warnings (of punishment). He strives to correct corruption and guides to good ways in travel and otherwise. He invites people to monotheism, love, and loyalty, strives for good things, and is most generous. The highest effort is among his attributes; he is the first in everything, and he is very patient. Allah created him in the best form and made him grow and bear fruit in the best way.”
