The Significance and Esteemed Position of Youth in Society (Part Three)
The Tricks of the West to Destroy the Young Muslim Generation
The existence of the young generation holds great importance in Islamic societies. This generation possesses the potential to either drive progress and advancement or lead to decline and extinction within a society. Furthermore, Muslims always need this generation for change and progress. The infidels, who have long been enemies of Islam and Muslims, understand the significance of this issue and continuously seek ways to destroy and degrade the Muslim youth. They have succeeded in dividing and shattering the unity of Muslims by leveraging this young force.
Today, as the situation of Muslims evolves, the West, led by America, is attempting to halt or divert this process of change by isolating the youth, employing various methods to achieve its goals. Young Muslims are entering a phase of life during which contemporary thoughts and ideas have coalesced into a unified opposition against Islam and Muslims. Various ideologies—democratic, capitalist, communist, secular, and racist—align to prey on young Muslims and their minds. In addition to attempting to protect their own followers, these groups strive to attract others to their ideologies and beliefs.
Young Muslims are inundated with toxic ideas from all sides within this environment. The West has adopted numerous strategies to attract young people, trying to draw them to its lands through diverse means. One prevalent tactic is the portrayal of the progress and advancement of Western countries, fostering the belief among young Muslims that happiness and peace reside in the Western world and that one must travel there to attain it.
The youth are often mesmerized by the skyscrapers and modernity of Western countries, leading them to pursue a journey to the West in search of false and illusory happiness. Another method, which differs from the previous one, involves offering scholarships to Muslim youth. The West provides various scholarships aimed at scientific advancement, imposing certain conditions and characteristics on applicants to select elites from among them. This process often results in those who travel to the West becoming absorbed in Western thoughts and culture, gradually eroding their Islamic values and concepts.
Moreover, there is the abhorrent tactic of using drugs to destroy youth. The West occupies Islamic lands under various pretexts, transforming them into centers for drug trafficking, leading to addiction that undermines youth and communities. For instance, Afghanistan has earned the notorious title of a “drug paradise” during the 20 years of American presence, with more than 3 million addicts reported. If one walks through the streets and markets, it becomes evident that a considerable number of individuals live in a tragic state of addiction, often found in public spaces like streams, parks, and roads.
The fundamental solution to addressing the youth crisis is to educate the young generation based on Islamic values. By instilling the saving values of Islam in youth, their perspectives on life can be transformed, enabling them to become true fighters and leaders who will, like their predecessors, strive to guide humanity.
