The most important issues of belief, after firm faith in Allah Almighty, are belief in the prophethood of the prophets, the heavenly books, the Day Judgment, and belief in accountability in the Day of Judgement, as well as Heaven and Hell. As we read in theological books, the principles of religion are three: monotheism (Tawheed), prophethood, and resurrection. These issues form the foundation of belief in all divine religions; thus, the dividing line between faith and disbelief in a divine religion is measured based on belief in these issues or the denial of any one of them.
Among the issues of belief, the position of the divine prophets in guiding humanity, particularly their role in strengthening beliefs in the essence of Allah Almighty, matters of the unseen, and the generalization of noble morals, is very important and vital. It can be said that the messengers and prophets of Allah have been among the greatest blessings of merciful Allah for mankind, bringing eternal happiness to believers. However, throughout human history, there have been those who, by turning a blind eye to the truth, have led themselves and others astray. Undoubtedly, Satanists are among the last groups that have surpassed other false sects in denying the prophets in various ways. Below, we will examine some of these cases.
A) Denial of the Prophets
It is clear that a group that denies the existence of Allah the Almighty will naturally also disbelieve in religion and the divine prophets. Therefore, for Satanists who deny the existence of Allah the Almighty, denying the divine prophets is a normal and straightforward matter. This sect considers the Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) nothing more than an illusion and believes that all the divine prophets (may Allah be pleased with them) were deceitful humans.
Levi states: “The prophets sought to control and dominate humans by forging and creating religions.” This group believes that there is no need for humans to be called by the “prophets and messengers” and that the era of such exploitative beliefs has ended.
B) Denial of Miracles
After denying the prophets and divine prophecy, Satanists deny everything related to prophecy, especially miracles. They believe that everything conveyed to humans by the prophets (may Allah be pleased with them) is nothing more than a lie. From the perspective of Satanists, this generalization includes the books, messages, and miracles of the prophets (peace be upon them). This sect asserts about the miracles of the prophets: “There is no miracle, and everything that was said, seen, or brought by the prophets is nothing more than an illusion or the workings of nature itself. Some miracles can be completely explained by what exists in nature, and modern science has deciphered them.” They believe that the prophets, as elite humans, had access to the sciences behind these miracles, but kept their knowledge hidden from others to dominate and rule over them.
C) Blasphemy
The essence of the Satanist religion can be summarized as anything that contradicts religion and piety being sacred. Blasphemy and insults against all divine prophets are acceptable in their view. One of their hymns states: “The soul of Christ is appreciated by intoxicated harlots.” They also proclaim: “No one has been crucified, and the plague is nothing but Christ.”
In summary, this group holds a disgusting and offensive view of Jesus (peace be upon him) and other divine prophets. Their rejection of the crucifixion of Jesus (peace be upon him) is not because they align with the Muslim view, but rather to imply that nothing is sacred. It makes no difference to them whether something is real or unreal. In a passage from “The Satanic Bible,” it is stated: “Religion is evil, the prophets are evil rulers, and their followers are nothing more than slaves.”
D) Opposition to the Teachings of the Divine Prophets
Opposition and bias against the guiding teachings of the divine prophets are other characteristics of this sect. They consider almost everything that is customary in society, which is aligned with the teachings of the divine prophets, to be false and openly oppose it. The most fundamental teaching of the divine prophets is the call for humanity to recognize and worship the oneness of Allah Almighty; but Satanists, in direct contradiction to this soul-enriching call, urge their followers to worship Satan and follow their lusts and desires.
Additionally, purity and maintaining boundaries regarding incest and decency are key aspects of the teachings of the divine prophets. However, in blatant contrast, the Satanist group encourages its followers to indulge in promiscuity, mixing, unlimited sexual exploitation, and even to the extent of killing the opposite sex. They proclaim: “To the extent that sexual pleasure is pursued, closeness to Satan will be achieved, and human security will be ensured.”
In the misguided West, these biases have escalated to the point where even the leaders of this errant sect have adopted Satanic baptism in opposition to Christian baptism, claiming: “Christian baptism (according to Christians) is performed as a means of cleansing a person from sins, but Satanic baptism is to help a person achieve greater heights spiritually and physically regarding their sexual desires and pleasures.”
These actions indicate that the entire Satanist religion is based on opposition and bias against the principles of religion, promoting debauchery, drinking wine, using drugs, staging dances and parades, and employing the inverted cross symbol, among other acts.
