By participating in this ritual, a Muslim should remember the values that have been somewhat forgotten in society.
Sometimes, people stray from the moral commands of Islam and violate certain values, but by participating in the funeral prayer, they may reflect on the immorality and abnormality of their past actions. This moment can become a pivotal point in their lives, inspiring change.
2.Not Forgetting Loved Ones
The overwhelming weight of material responsibilities can cast a shadow over a Muslim’s life, causing him to forget many of his loved ones, turning all his companions into mere possessions. Some individuals become so immersed in these material pursuits that they even forget themselves and their future.
Performing the funeral prayer serves as a wake-up call, reminding individuals that they should remember the living before it is too late and visit their relatives and loved ones. When death comes, it will not be useful to mourn over their lifeless bodies.
