The Position of the Youth Generation in Islamic Teachings
By examining the verses of the Holy Quran and the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), we find that Islam places a special emphasis on the youth. For instance, Allah the Almighty says regarding the people of Prophet Moses (peace be upon him): «فَمَا آمَنَ لِمُوسَى إِلَّا ذُرِّيَةٌ مِّن قَوْمِهِ» (Translation: “Belief in Prophet Moses was accepted only by a group of his people.”)
Similarly, at the beginning of the Prophet Muhammad’s mission, when the newly revealed religion of Islam greatly needed the sacrifice and dedication of the youth, young individuals like the ten-year-old Ali, the twenty-year-old Suhaib, and the thirty-year-old Umar stepped forward to protect this precious human blessing. When youth come forward and harness both their faith and youthful energy, it leads to remarkable and impactful transformations in society.
    Conclusion:
From the verses, hadiths, and sources used in this article, we conclude that youth and the period of youth hold great value because young people are the assets of our existence and the builders of our nation’s future. The foundation and essence of a community’s future are laid by its younger generation. Therefore, O young generation, recognize your worth and value; youth is a unique star that shines brightly in every human life, and this phase is the most valuable, luminous, and flourishing time of life.
To ensure that the youth of the Islamic Ummah become true builders and servants of Islam and Muslims, those in power and authority must address the issues facing them—economic, psychological, and more—and provide the means for their comfort and well-being. Only then will they be able to fulfill their responsibilities without experiencing physical or mental instability, allowing them to pursue their goals effectively.
We hope for the day when the youths of the Islamic Ummah will be aware of the deceit and schemes of enemies and will fulfill their societal responsibilities correctly.
