    Homosexuality (Part Five)
    Homosexuality and Religions
We have seen and heard a lot (in magazines and media) that European countries have promoted homosexuality and legalized it; but it is surprising that the representatives of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him), who introduce themselves as interpreters of the Bible, approve this heinous act and marry two people so that they can have illicit relations with each other. These devious spiritualists seem to have not read the story of people of Lut in the Bible and do not know about the end of their cities, especially “Sodom and Amorrah”.
The Bible condemns this abominable act: “There shall be no harlot among the daughters of Israel, and there shall be no buggery (homosexual) among the sons of Israel.”
And it states: Allah left them to evil lusts, so that their women turned the natural act into what is against nature, and also the men left the natural use of women and burned with each other from their lusts, man with man committed abominable acts. They found punishment according to their faults.
Among Zoroastrians, this act was also abominable. In the book Wandida, which is a part of the Avesta and recounts the rules and laws of Zoroastrianism, it is stated that Zarathustra Spentman asked Ahura Mazda: “O Lord of the universe… if a man commits buggery with a man.” What is his punishment? Ahura Mazda replied: “Eight hundred lashes with the commanding whip.”
It is also stated in “Wandida”: “Ahura Mazda said: O Zarathustra Spentman, the bugger and the buggered are both demons and worshipers of demons, and they are friends with demons.”
The holy law of Islam has also considered this act as an abominable act, and the rulings related to it have been passed.
The Opinion of Old and New Philosophers
Homosexuals are considered a small minority in the world; they are always looking for self-pleasure, without thinking that it is prescribed in nature that how and in what way can a person enjoy sexual powers?
For this reason, we see the supporters of this group who wrote and tried to prove it by different methods and rejected the theory of many scientists, or interpreted and justified it. The theory of the world’s great philosophers is mentioned here.
    Ancient philosophers:
In the book of Laws, Plato called homosexuality an unnatural behavior and said: “Male birds go to female birds because of their sexual instinct, man and woman of our city (the Platonic utopia) who have a sexual instinct like birds, should not be lowered from two birds and do something unnatural.”
    The new philosophers:
Immanuel Kant, a famous German philosopher, says: “Homosexuality is a source of human shame and a dishonor of humanity.”
Of course, we consider homosexuality to be “intrinsically” and not incidentally, a cause of humiliation and violation of human dignity. Roger Scroton, a contemporary philosopher from England, writes: “Homosexuality is morally reprehensible for two important reasons. First of all, relationships between homosexuals are very superficial and unstable. Second, the relationship between homosexuals is unusually promiscuous and leads to a kind of promiscuous life.
Regarding this opinion of the English philosopher, we believe that the listed defects of homosexuality are temporary defects; that is, if homosexuals have stable and different relationships with each other, their actions are still considered abominable and reprehensible, because the said action has many flaws and is far from healthy nature.
