Western Opinions and Ideas about Darwin’s Theory
Many thinkers and professors at Western universities, as well as individuals active in the fields of typology and genetics, have rejected Darwin’s theory of evolution and have made it synonymous with illusion and imagination. This denial and rejection are based on their perceptions of the theory, as well as the opposition and contradictions that it has encountered with established scientific rules and laws.
From the beginning, Darwin’s theory of evolution had caused the formation of scientific disputes and conflicts in various Western societies, and countless people have commented on it. In fact, some western societies have put this opinion as a way to understand the origin of creation of creatures and how to evolve and improve them, and in this way, they have avoided straining before the Creator of the universe and creatures and determining the origin and origin of their formation. For this reason, many Western thinkers who have paid attention to religious teachings and the influence of God’s essence in the creation of creatures, have doubted this theory and considered it nothing more than a superstition that makes the past and future of creatures appear vague and unacceptable.
Apart from Islamic writers who have written books and articles refuting Darwin’s theory, many Western thinkers have also expressed disgust and doubt towards this idea and theory.
In this topic, we will mention some of these opinions and ideas.
The Scottish author, anatomist, and anthropologist Sir Arthur Keith writes: “The theory of evolution has been and will continue to be unproven; the only reason we still believe in it is that the only alternative is ‘direct creation.’ It is a creature; it is an uncertain issue.”
Professor Watson, a professor at the University of London, says: “Animal scientists do not believe in evolution based on the results of research, experiments, or logical reasoning, but only because the idea of direct creation coming from human imagination is unlikely.”
Professor Scott emphasized this issue and wrote: “There is no doubt that the theory of evolution is here to stay, and it is not possible to abandon it, even if it rests solely on pure belief (and without reason).”
Mr. Sir Dawson added: “This belief is a kind of blind faith, mixed with simplicity and superstition.”
“The miraculous changes that are supposed to be unique to superstitious stories are commonplace in the theory of evolution,” writes Professor J. Bibb.
“Dr. McNair Wilson” writes in the scientific journal of Oxford University: “The theory of evolution is nothing but a superstition that includes some creatures.”
Many church scholars have also rejected this theory. “Pope Georges Faraj”, one of the Lebanese Christian scholars, has written a book on this topic and rejected the theory of evolution by the way of a conversation between two people, one of whom is human and the other is human.
“Pastor Khairullah Stephen” is another Christian scholar who rejects this theory in his writings. He has written a book called«صفوة علم الیقین فی حقیقة مذهب داروین» (Selected Certain Sciences about the Truth of Darwin’s Religion) and has explained how the development and growth of Darwin’s false theory and what were the objections to it at the beginning.
He has rejected the theory of evolution and does not accept that man has become a man from another animal; Because according to him, this issue has not been scientifically proven, and no one has given a certificate for it. Also, he asked the followers of this religion to introduce the “missing link” they believe in; Because we do not find any traces of it among the living and the dead, fossils and extinct ones.
Dr. “Halim Atiye Surial” also rejected Darwin’s theory of evolution and wrote a book in this context as “Darwin’s Creed and Scientific Proof of Creationism”; (Dispersal of Darwin’s Religion and Scientific Proof of the Doctrine of Creation) and in it he rejected this religion with scientific and rational reasons. He rejected Darwin’s theory, which believes that: “Man has had a weak body and constitution in some stages of his evolution, and his intellect and perception have been incomplete” and says: “How is it possible for a creature with a weak body and a weak mind? To continue his life while there were lions, elephants, leopards and other predatory animals around him.
He says about “The Missing Link”, which is Darwin’s strong document in proving the theory of evolution: “The crisis of the missing link among species is the biggest problem to make Darwin’s Religion appear clean, and this problem still persists after a hundred years since the publication of Darwin’s Principle of Species. It stands by its own strength.”
“Ibrahim Horan” is another scholar and linguist who has scientifically rejected Darwin’s Religion and in two treatises called (Methods of scientists in rejecting evolution and improvement) and another (True certainty in refuting Darwin’s false opinions), has examined Darwin’s reasons and has violated this religion by weakening and making them look weak.
His research method has been such that he has focused on the weak areas of Darwin’s religion, and he has violated the reasons and did not consider them to be fixed, he also believes that Darwin’s Religion cannot reject human doubt and give certainty and confidence to man, but the field It provides estimation and controversy which is the basis of this religion.
In rejecting the issue that Darwin considers “nature’s selection” to be the basis of the evolution and growth of organisms, he said: Nature has an effect on the existing object and cannot affect the perishable object that does not exist yet; Therefore, nature can blind the eye but cannot make the blind see.
He also said that Darwin’s Religion requires that low and high species do not gather together, but that they arise successively and with the former overtaking the latter, while the association of this case, which Darwin rejects, has been achieved in the case of extinct and living organisms.
