The Biography of the sword of Allah, Hazrat Khalid bin Walid, “MAPH” (part 47)
Going to visit the Sacred House of Allah (Bayt Ullah al-Haram)
Hazrat Syedna Khalid bin Walid, MAPH, after a long period of war and struggle in the land of Iraq decided to go to the Lord of the Worlds with his precious and wounded body and receive his reward from Allah (S.w.t)
On the twenty-fifth date of Zu Al-Qadah in the year 12 AH, he sent 1 of the Army of Islam by Hazrat Asim bin Amr to the city of Hira and he himself went to Mecca with some of his companions in secret and at high speed; They were able to get to Mecca and after performing the Hajj rites, they returned to Hirah and joined Army of Islam.
The reprimand of the Muslim caliph to Hazrat Khalid ibn Walid (MAPH)
No One was aware of the pilgrimage of Hazrat Syedna Khalid Ibn Walid (MAPH) until he returned to Hirah and the Mujahideen noticed their shaved heads and realized that they performed pilgrimage. When the news that Syedna Khalid (MAPH) had left for Mecca and left Lashkar-e-Islam alone, reached to Siddique Akbar (MAPH) he was very saddened; Because he knew that the Romans, Iranians, and Arabs of Iraq could attack the Muslims at any time; Therefore, Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) first gave Hazrat Syedna Khalid bin Walid (MAPH) in the congratulatory message, his continuous victories and the Hajj of the House of Allah, then rebuked him and said that he should not leave the scene and go to Hajj.
Syedna Khalid Ibn Walid, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, also accepted this and realized his responsibility to the Army of Islam, after which he did not leave his army alone. It is clear from this how much the Companions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) cared about the command and obedience of the Caliph and considered this as an example of their life.
Hazrat Syedna Khalid bin Walid (MAPH) despite being a commander and an army and had a lot of supporters and could raise his head and not listen to the caliph’s rebuke, but still with a pure and humble heart he considered obedience obligatory and like a soldier from the soldiers of Islam lower their heads and wait for the new order of the Muslim caliph.
How beneficial it is for Muslims to follow their emir and caliphs now, turning away from disobedience and secrecy. The lives of these elders serve as lessons and models for all members of society. If we draw inspiration from one of these great figures, we can be sure that we will find the path to success and happiness and reach our destination. These esteemed leaders embody the life and practical behavior of the Prophet Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.
