Colonialism (Part 31)
Deceiving women by plotting their rights
Women have a very high position in the religion of Islam and its weighty teachings, and they are at the same level as men in religious matters and what is required for activity and progress. Islam considers women to be the cradle and nursery of history-making and successful people, and her goodness will lead to the purity and goodness of human generations.
There are many verses and hadiths about women’s rights, and in fact, Islam has expressed and respected women’s rights in a precise and transparent manner. Islam has given women the right to own property and possession, Allah Almighty says in this regard:
“«للرجال نصیب مما اکتسبوا وللنساء نصیب مما اکتسبن»؛.”
“Men have a portion of what they get, and women also have a portion of what they get.”
The religion of Islam has given women the right to inheritance, just as it has given this right to men. In this case, Allah Almighty says:
“«للرجال نصیب مما ترک الوالدان والأقربون وللنساء نصیب مما ترک الوالدان والأقربون مما قل منه أو کثر نصیبا مفروضا».2
For men and for women, there is a share of what parents and relatives leave behind, whether that inheritance is small or large, Allah (S.W.T) has made each one’s share clear and obligatory.
Women also have an opinion and vote in the selection of the Caliph and Amir al-Mu’minin, just as when Hazrat Abd al-Rahman Ibn Auf was appointed as the head of the six-member council after the martyrdom of the second Caliph of Islam, Hazrat Amir al-Mu’minin Umar bin al-Khattab, men and women, Child and Old, He asked everyone and even went to people’s homes to hear their opinions and Votes.
More importantly, it should be known that throughout history, Muslims have trusted women’s knowledge and valued their memory and trustworthiness; As most of the jurisprudential issues related to personal and family issues have been narrated from Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqa, may Allah be pleased with her, and other pure wives and wives of the Companions.
However, contrary to all these privileges and rights that the religion of Islam has granted to women, and it has made actions necessary for them in proportion to their abilities and characteristics, the western world has deprived women of their basic and necessary rights and, They have placed it as a tool for sexual exploitation and economic advertising.
This Western thinking about women was formed in the form of a movement called feminism and the women’s liberation movement, and it was accompanied by plans and programs that aimed to unburden women and take them out of the home, as well as false claims of equality between men and women in life, has been ordered and organized.
This movement claims that Islam has oppressed women and trampled on her Muslim rights and has considered women as half men in the field of inheritance, marriage, martyrdom, etc. is a document and it is clearly rejected and unacceptable; But they have confused the minds of the youth and the general public by taking over the media and superficially using some prophetic hadiths.
This movement was active and aggressive in Afghanistan during the occupation and implementing its plans. The most important source and reference for their decision-making was the ministry that was founded under the title “Ministry of Women”. This ministry and other feminist movements that were active in a strong and regular manner had implemented countless cases to seduce and mislead Afghan women, especially young and vulnerable girls, and had achieved success in this way.
Among the things that the occupiers did in the field of seducing and deceiving women, the following examples can be mentioned:
1- Creating mixing between boys and girls in different circles under the false pretext of freedom and women’s rights and fighting against people who were against this practice;
2- Encouraging and persuading women to take off the hijab and showing the hijab as the cause of the backwardness of the nation and the country of Afghanistan;
3- Building places called safe houses under the pretext of sheltering girls and women who run away from their homes due to problems and seek refuge in this place; In this place, where there was security only in name, all kinds of indecency and sexual assaults took place on the women who came to this place. Countless cases have been reported by various officials and reporters who have gone to visit these places, which indicate the countless corruptions in these places.
4- Implementing and approving laws on the subject of marriage and divorce and women’s rights that were not related to Islamic rules and were based on the teachings and principles of feminist movements and the founders of the women’s freedom movement.
5- Pulling women out of the house under the pretext of work and income generation and creating mixing and cohabitation of men and women in different departments and undermining the principles and rulings of mahram and non-mahram shara’ee in this matter.
6- Propagation of false religions among women and girls who went to feminist centers, in such a way that, according to reliable and trustworthy reports, through the “first lady of the country” spend a large amount of money and with the exorbitant expenses provided by the countries that support the occupation, to propagate and promote religions.
6- The spread of corruption and prostitution and inculcating the individual freedom of girls in the way of using their body and making it available to others under the pretext of freedom of choice.
7- Propagation of illegitimate relationships between boys and girls and making Sharia marriage look worthless; In such a way that they made the consent of the parties important and did not consider the performance of Sharia marriage and religious and ethnic traditions as mandatory.
8- Involvement of women in political and parliamentary debates and their undesirable use in party events and challenges and political movements; In such a way that women worked in the parliament, ministries, departments, etc.
9- Sending girls in the alleys and streets with a weak hijab or without a hijab to make the issue of not wearing a hijab look normal; These types of people were financially supported by the embassies of Western and colonialist countries and feminist organizations.
10- Encouraging departments to hire women and exempt them from taxes in proportion to the number of female employees in their administrative systems and frameworks.
These were a brief part of the cases that the colonialists committed during the occupation period of seducing and deceiving the Muslim and chaste women of Afghanistan.
