Almighty Allah says about the Jews:
And [Allah became angry with the Bani Israel] because they said [out of mockery]: “We killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Maryam, the Prophet of Allah,” while they neither killed him nor crucified him [as they claimed and spread among the people], but they were mistaken [and thought that Jesus was killed and crucified while someone else was killed in his place]. And without a doubt, those who disagreed about him are in doubt about him and have no knowledge of it and are only following suspicion. And [they should know] that they certainly did not kill him; rather, Allah saved him [from their hands and took him] to Himself, and Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.”
The Bani Israel themselves admitted that they had killed Jesus, and this shows the height of their insolence, shamelessness and rebelliousness, that they not only denied him; Rather, they tried to kill him, and the fact that they called Jesus, the messenger of Allah, was not based on faith and belief; Rather, they intended to mock and ridicule.
It has been narrated about the attempt of the Jews to kill Jesus: Despite the fact that Allah provided Jesus with many miracles, but the Jews did not believe in him and forced him to travel with his mother (secretly) in different cities and invite people to Allah; But the Jews did not stop there; Rather, they spent all their efforts to kill him and as a result, they commissioned a Jewish man for a huge fee to find the location of Jesus for them. followed him until he found his place and showed it to the Jews; It has been narrated that the person whom the Jews mistakenly killed and hanged instead of Jesus, was a Jewish mercenary.
According to the Hadith of the Ascension narrated by Imam Bukhari, in which it is mentioned that the Prophet PBUH saw Jesus in the second heaven on the night of the Ascension (Me’raj), Jesus is alive and in the second heaven and will remain there. Until Allah sends him down to the ground and he kills Dajjal as mentioned in the narrations.
Allah says in another verse about Jesus’ ascension to heaven: «إِذْ قَالَ اللَّهُ یا عِیسَى إِنِّی مُتَوَفِّیكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَیّ وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ الَّذِینَ کفروا» [Remember] when Allah said: O Jesus! I will send you and take you to Myself and purify you from [the impurity of] those who disbelieved.”
Allah raised Jesus [alive] to the sky, without killing him or putting him to sleep, this theory was also narrated from Ibn Abbas, MAPH, and it was also chosen by Tabari and Zahak.
The commentators, including Zahak and Fara, are of the opinion that there is an introduction and a delay in «إنی متوفیک و رافعک إلی» Because vau (و) is an inflection only for the plural and does not cause order, in this case the meaning of the verse becomes: “I will take you to Myself and purify you from the disbelievers and I will kill you after you descend from the sky.” Just as in the verse «وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِنْ رَبِّكَ لَكَانَ لِزَامًا وَأَجَلٌ مُسَمًّى» has been presented and delayed, and it means «ولولا کلمة سبقت من ربّک وأجل مسمی لکان لزاماً»
