The history of Sacrifice and it’s truth (5th part)
    Satan’s tricks
When the devil saw that the father and son went to the slaughterhouse to obey Allah’s order, even though he knew that Abraham, peace be upon him, was as steadfast as a mountain, he still did not stop his plans. For the first time, as a benevolent person, he went to Ismail’s mother and said: Where has Ismail gone? His mother replied: He went to the desert with his father to collect firewood. Satan said: You do not know the truth, his father took him to be slaughtered. Hazrat Hajra (peace be upon him) said in surprise: Does any father slaughter his son? Satan replied: He says that I am commissioned by Allah to slaughter Ismail, peace be upon him. Hazrat Hajra (peace be upon him) immediately gave an answer to the devil that suited the situation of Khalilullah’s people; As he said: If the issue is that you say that Allah Almighty ordered him to be slaughtered, then Allah’s order must be implemented.
Because the devil was disappointed with the mother, he chased the father and son who were on the way to me, and first he met Ibrahim (peace be upon him) as a close friend and wanted to stop him from this desire. But he, who was recognizing him, because this trick of his was thwarted, he used another trick, he threw himself in the form of a large jinn near the Jamrah of Aqaba on the path of Hazrat Ibrahim, peace be upon him, the angel who was with him said that this is the devil and stoned him.  Hazrat Ibrahim took seven pebbles and on each pebble, he said Allahu Akbar and threw them towards the devil until the devil escaped from there and took a stronghold near Jamra al-Wasati. When Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) reached there, he picked up seven pebbles and hit him until he disappeared from there and appeared near the first gem.
Hazrat Khalilullah (peace be upon him) did the same thing as before and protected himself from his evil. That father and son continued their way until they reached the slaughterhouse. This event is narrated in Ruh al-Ma’ani according to the narration of Qatadah and in Ibn Kasir, most of which is narrated by Ibn Abbas, it is related to the Musnad of Ahmad. «فَلَمَّا أَسْلَمَا وَ تَلَّهُ لِلْجَبِيْنِ» ” it means because both father and son were prepared for this huge sacrifice and the father laid the child on his stomach to kill him; This kind of throwing was on the one hand humility and on the other hand wisdom so that the face of the blessed child did not catch his eye and an involuntary slip was issued. In some narrations, it is said that Hazrat Ibrahim, peace be upon him, pressed the knife with the utmost force to fulfill Allah’s decree and sacrifice his honorable son, but the power of Allah Almighty prevented him from doing it.
In some hadiths, it is mentioned that at that time Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) said: O father, you do not have a cloth to shroud me; Therefore, the shirt I am wearing is clean and white, it is better to take it out so that it can be used when I am shrouded. When the father was busy taking out his shirt, a voice from the unseen came and annulled this ruling. «وَنادَيْناهُ أَنْ يَا إِبْراهِيمُ قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ الرُّؤْيا»
“We said at that time, O Ibrahim, peace be upon him! You have fulfilled the mission of the world of dreams. And immediately a ram was sent to be slaughtered instead of Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him). As Allah Almighty says: «وَفَدَيْنَاهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِیمٍ» “; “We sent him a sheep and sacrificed a big sacrifice.”
Azim was said because it was a prophetic redemption or because the sacrifice became a divine law until the resurrection. Almighty Allah sacrificed the ram and father and son were very happy.
Now, a question arises here, what was the wisdom of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) being ordered to slaughter his precious son instead of waking up in his sleep?
Answer: Originally, the main purpose of slaughtering was not; Rather, it was to test those two nobles; Because he was not explicitly ordered to be slaughtered, but he saw in a dream that he was sacrificing his child. As when he did his job and succeeded in the most difficult test, in order to execute the sentence, the good news was given by the voice of the unseen that, O Ibrahim, you have completed the mission of the world of dreams.
Hazrat Ibrahim, peace be upon him, did not dream that he had slaughtered his son; Rather, he saw in a dream that he was preparing for the slaughter, which was later interpreted and fulfilled. In the interpretation of Ruh al-Bayan, it is mentioned as follows: It is possible that Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) is shown in the form of a ram in a dream, just like science is shown in the form of a lion in a dream; Because there was a spiritual fit of obedience between Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) and the ram; Just as Hazrat Ishmael (peace be upon him) was obedient, the ram is also obedient and obedient at the time of slaughter, and the origin of its creation is to be slaughtered and eaten, unlike cows and camels, whose main reason is to ride, carry, and work, and compared to the ram. They are less often slaughtered for meat consumption. In short, the main purpose was to slaughter the ram, but due to the test, the ram was shown in the form of Hazrat Ismail, peace be upon him, and the mind of Hazrat Ibrahim, peace be upon him, did not turn to the original interpretation of this dream until the test was completed.
Ibn Kasir narrated from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, that the head and horns of that ram were hanging in the watershed of Baitullah until the advent of Islam, which the descendants of Ismail (peace be upon him) (Quraysh of Makkah) kept as a memorial. Some believe that these heads and horns existed until the caliphate of Hazrat Abdullah bin Zubair, may Allah be pleased with him.
And at the time of the fitna of the pilgrims, when the House of Allah fell prey to fire, they were also burned there. Here, a question arises that before that, the order of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was that fire came from the sky and burned the sacrifices, so how did the head and horns of this ram remain intact? Answer: It is stated in the Tafsir of Ruh al-Bayan: When the children of Israel were slaughtering a sacrifice, they would cut off the major meats and leave them until a fire came from the sky and burned them. From this narration, it is clear that only the main meat was burned, therefore, it was a constant fact that the head and horns remained. This was the most difficult and often the last test of Hazrat Ibrahim, peace be upon him, in which he remained steadfast like a mountain; He had already sacrificed all his family, relatives, city, place, property and wealth for the sake of Allah; He even offered his life as a sacrifice. The sacrifice of the only son of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) proved his promise that my life and death are for Allah.
    Memories of Ebrahimi
Almighty Allah liked the actions of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and made all his actions among the most popular acts of worship to revive his memory and made them obligatory. Such as throwing pebbles at the three Jam rats, etc., and sacrifice was made necessary for the general Muslims, especially for the pilgrims, who must surely slaughter an animal in order to revive the memory of Hazrat Ibrahim, peace be upon him. Apart from that, the Almighty Allah included the actions of Hazrat Hajra (peace be upon her) as part of Islamic rituals As it was made obligatory for every Hajj to try between Safa and Marwa and to circumambulate seven times.
It is stated in a hadith: When the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, asked him about the truth of the sacrifice, he replied: The sacrifice is the Sunnah and the memory of your grandfather Ibrahim, peace be upon him. The honorable companions, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon them all, said: Will we receive a reward from this sacrifice? The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: Yes, for every hair of the sacrificial animal, one good deed is written in your deeds.
    Islamic Memories
It is a long-standing habit of people to build monuments to revive the achievements of their elders, and these monuments are generally statues or buildings. Although this type of repair is an honor for the person who performed the work, and its effects will remain for some time; But the original spirit of the founder of the monument will not be revived from this. It is for this reason that Islam abandoned the old customs such as statues and memorial buildings and made it obligatory for the people to perform and repeat the prayers of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him). By performing those actions, not only their memories are refreshed; Rather, the motivation of that action affects the hearts as well. No matter how strong the buildings and statues are, they will still fall prey to accidents.
    Does sacrifice cause economic recession?!
Today, it is propagated just contrary to the purpose for which Allah made sacrifice obligatory; Among other things, it is said: What is a sacrifice? (Allah forbid) it is a useless thing, millions of Tomans are poured in the streams in the form of blood, the number of animals is reduced, it causes a lot of damage to the society’s economy. The fault finders themselves suggest that instead of sacrifice and distribution of meat, money should be given to the poor so that they themselves spend to meet their needs. Such advertisements and slogans used to be made by a few people in the past, but now it has become so common that every day several people ask that there are many poor people in the society, what is wrong with giving them money instead of making sacrifices?
    The soul of the victim
If a person helps the poor instead of praying, his prayer is not fulfilled. Because every worship has its own order; Duties and obligations in their place, helping the poor has rewards and rewards in its place. Saying sentences like victim is against reason, it causes economic stagnation, it is economically harmful. It is propaganda against the victim, which negates its philosophy and spirit. Let’s remember, unless a person follows Allah’s commands, he will not be happy. The reason for all this bribery, oppression and corruption in human society is that man follows his own reason and does not follow Allah’s decree. Of course, this is not common sense; Rather, thinking is useless from understanding divine wisdom, otherwise it is common sense that considers Allah Almighty as the discriminator of good and bad; And it is believed that he is supremely knowledgeable and wise in his deeds.
Nafli worship can be done whenever; But the sacrifice and the act of stabbing the throat is worship only for three days. The same act is not considered worship after three days have passed. Allah teaches man through the sacrifice that an action is considered worship only when it is done according to our order, religion means following Allah’s orders; It means that we accept and act on what the Almighty Allah has decreed, without Allah’s decree, nothing is done. I wish we understood that it is easy for us to understand the whole religion correctly.
