Personable Muslim (8th part)
Examples of good manners, while walking
1. A personable and polite Muslim removes obstacles such as stones, ropes, glass, or other things from the way. The Messenger of Allah, PBUH, said in this regard: «وتمیط الأذى عن الطریق صدقة» ” and removing annoying objects [stones, thorns, thorns, etc.] is like charity.”
2. He refrains from urinating on the way, so as not to cause anyone’s discomfort. He avoids playing, joking and making fun of others in the alleys and streets.
3. He does not narrow the way for the passers but tries to widen the way for them.
4. He greets anyone he sees on his way and responds to the greetings of others in a better way.
5. He Enjoins the good and forbids the evil.
The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “Whenever one of you sees a bad deed, he should change it with his own hands, if he cannot do this, do it with his own tongue.” and if he is unable to do so, he will dislike it in his heart, and this is the weakest stage of faith.”
6. In order to fulfill the orders of the Allah Almighty, he closes his eyes from the forbidden, and does not look at the strangers.
7. A Polite person rushes to the help of those who cannot walk and hold their hand; if he has a car or any vehicle, he will take others as well. He guides those who have lost their way and seeks to resolve disputes and fights that he can resolve and establishes reconciliation between them.
8. Tries to keep the roads clean and avoids throwing garbage in the middle of the road.
9. He does not eat anything while walking. He considers eating food while walking as against chivalry and good taste, and he does not pick up the phone while walking and working with it, because this is also against decency and politeness.
10. He does not speak loudly and does not laugh loudly; rather, he walks quietly and confidently.
May the merciful Allah make us all well-behaved and tasteful people and keep us away from harsh which is far from Islamic ethics.
