    Mu’tazila (Part14)
    Reasons of Ahl al-Sunnah wa-al Jama’ah
People of Sunnah and Jamaat have argued about this from many verses and hadiths, some of them are mentioned below:
Allah Almighty says: یا أیها الذین آمنوا توبوا إلی الله توبة نصوحا عسی ربکم أن یکفر عنکم سئیاتکم
ویدخلکم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار» (O you who believe, repent to Allah with pure repentance. May your Lord remove your sins from you and make you enter gardens beneath which streams flow.)
Allama Juvini, may Allah have mercy on him, says in relation to this verse of Karima: “All those who are addressed in the details of tasks are listed under the name of believers, and in fact, Allah Almighty has addressed the sinners in this verse and ordered them to repent.”
In another place, Allah Almighty says:
ثم أورثنا الکتاب الذین اصطفينا من عبادنا فمنهم ظالم لنفسه ومنهم مقتصد ومنهم سابق بالخيرات بإذن الله ذلك هو الفضل الكبير» (Then We bequeathed the [heavenly] book to them whom We chose from [among] Our servants, and [some] of them are oppressors in their own right, and [some] of them are moderate, and [some] of them are in the way of good deeds by the decree of God. They take the lead; this is the great grace.)
Amadi says: “This verse indicates that oppression is combined with choice, and it is also evident that only a believer can be chosen.”
In the end, it can be said that all these mentioned verses did not negate faith from committing a major sin; Rather, despite the depravity, he has given a verdict on his faith. His faith is still there; So, he is a sinful believer.
Hadiths of the Prophet, may Allah bless Him and grant Him peace
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever complains about his brother because of [taking] his honor or something else against him, then he should ask for permission from him today, before the day comes when there will be nine dinars and Not even a dirham, so if that person has righteous and good deeds, the amount of the complainant’s complaint will be taken from his actions, and if that person does not have virtues and good deeds, the complainant’s bad deeds will be put on his shoulders, then he will be thrown into the fire of hell. With this hadith, it was proved that the oppressor has virtues , from which the right of the oppressed is completed.”
It is clearly proven from the reasons mentioned above: expelling the Debaucher from the faith is not the opinion of any of the Ahl al-Sunnah and Jamaat; Rather, they all agree that the perpetrator of a major sin is a believer if he does not consider it halal; But there is a defect in his faith, he is a believer with his faith and a Debaucher with his great sin, and he is not given the name of a perfect believer.
    Rational reason
In order to emphasize that the perpetrator of a major sin does not leave the circle of faith According to Sunnis and Jamaat, we consider it appropriate to state a few other reasons to emphasize this issue, and one of them is an intellectual reason, this reason is that disbelief It does not come together with faith. Amadi depicts it for us as follows:
“The perpetrator of the great sin is a believer, and the reason that he is a believer is that he is characterized by the Attribute of faith, and the reason that he is characterized by faith is that he acknowledges Allah Almighty, if in faith, if there is no acknowledgment of Allah Almighty, that faith has no meaning at all. When he is a believer, then he is not a disbeliever; Because disbelief is against faith, and disbelief cannot be combined with Believer.
    Reminder
First: Scholars write: “The Mu’tazila had no goal except mediation and moderation in religion with their vote and opinion; Because they did not consider the side of exaggeration, nor the side of negligence. But in the end, they could not protect their thoughts and beliefs from deviating from the right path. So, this is an important lesson for every Muslim who is united with extremist groups and is not afraid of faith, belief; Because beliefs are very soon affected by the environment and surroundings and people are very soon caught in the trap of excesses, so it is necessary to act very cautiously in this direction and always be careful of our beliefs, and thoughts.
Secondly: We tried to finish all the topics related to the fourth principle in this article; But due to the multitude of topics and also the multitude of branches, we did not manage to include all the issues related to this discussion in this article, Inshallah, we will mention the rest of the issues related to this principle at the beginning of the new discussion, the most important of which is “What is the verdict of committing a major sin in the hereafter (judgment day)?” and “What issues are subordinated to this principle?”; Because the cases mentioned in this Article were related to worldly rulings and issues, everyone’s point of view about the afterlife ruling of committing a major sin is different.
