    Satanism (part 26)

    Moral Indicators
    Malice and Pessimism
Satanists believe that suppressing malice and pessimism causes individuals to be afflicted with various diseases. Therefore, these traits should not be suppressed internally; rather, they should be expressed wherever possible and by any means available. For this reason, this group resorts to various reprehensible acts such as theft, murder, rape, torture, terrorism, insulting others, and the like. [1]
In the Satanic Bible it is stated that inner malice and pessimism cause physical and psychological illnesses. Therefore, they must be brought out from within and not withheld from those who deserve them (religious people). [2]
    Abnormal Violation of Norms
Satanists are mostly known for social norm-breaking, especially in sexual matters. This group behaves in an unnatural manner in sexual issues and is extremely horrific. Some of their norm violations include:
    a) Sexual gratification accompanied by physical sadism, beating, and causing harm to the printer.
    b) Homosexuality (male with male “liwāt” or female with female “siḥāq”).
    c) Rape by force (fornication while the woman is unconscious, asleep, intoxicated, or through abduction, threat, intimidation, deception, or exploiting an underage girl).
    d) Sexual intercourse and gratification with children, elderly women, animals, and human corpses. [3]
Psychologists consider the origin of these deviations to be severe inner anxieties within individuals. [4]
From the Islamic perspective, however, these acts are considered among the major sins and extremely abhorrent. The Noble Qur’an refers to such behaviors as “fahshā’,” by which is meant every act that reason does not accept and the Sharī‘ah deems reprehensible. [5]
Translation: And do not follow the footsteps of Satan; indeed, he is to you a clear enemy. He only commands you to evil and indecency, and that you say about Allah what you do not know.[6]
    Selfishness and Ego-Worship
All activities of the Satanism sect revolve around selfishness, self-centeredness, and ego-worship. In reality, satisfying the ego by any possible means is the greatest goal of this sect.
The book The Satanic Bible refers to this group as “servants of the self.” LaVey says: if one were to give Satanists a single name, the best title would be servants of the self, because all the goals, desires, and beliefs of Satanism must be directed toward fulfilling the wishes of the ego. [7]
LaVey writes elsewhere: the belief of Satanism is in fact an example of absolute egotism, selfishness, and ego-worship. [8]
The boundless self-centeredness and ego-worship of this group has led some researchers to refer to this sect as “the religion of pleasure and benefit.” [9]
    Social Indicators
The spread of the Satanism sect in society has brought about numerous problems. Researchers and sociologists, in order to better understand this sect and to protect society from its deviations, have identified some of their characteristics as follows.
    Destruction of the Family Foundation
In the ideological framework of Satanism, the family has no value or status. Liberation from the family is central to the thinking of this sect, and they constantly advise one another not to marry and to remain childless, considering the dismantling of the family as an obligation. [10]
When members of Satanism reach a certain predefined stage, they must sever all their relationships with their families. [11]
This group feels no sense of responsibility toward the family and considers respect for family ties meaningless. Therefore, members of this sect regard incest, including with the mother, sister, aunt, and maternal aunt, as something commendable, and in order to draw closer to Satan, they commit this heinous act (incest) together with their friends. [12]
In some rituals of Satanists, in order to draw closer to Satan, a father engages in sodomy with his own child and gives his female relatives to others. [3]
These thoughts and actions indicate the extreme destruction of the family by the Satanist sect.
The recruitment process of this sect is designed in such a way that it leads to the breakdown of family relationships. One person deceived by this group says: “After joining the Satanist group, I lost my wife, my child, and all my property.” [14]
The emphasis of this sect on the destruction and collapse of the family indicates that the real actor behind the scenes of Satanism is global Zionism; because according to the protocols of the leaders of Zionism, the destruction and collapse of the family is one of their programs throughout the world, especially in Islamic countries. [15]
    Rebellion and opposition to society
Defiance and rebellion against accepted social values and opposition to them is another characteristic of Satanism.
Satanists continuously reject morals, customs, traditions, and social standards.
Through this behavior, they practically demonstrate their opposition to anything that carries a sense of sanctity, value, and respect, and anything in which traces of culture, civilization, and religion are seen. The root of this defiance and rebellion originates from the deviant ideas of this sect, which promote having an independent opinion and refusing to accept the ideas of others.[16]
In the Satanic Bible it is stated: “From the very beginning, rise against the dominant culture of the world, challenge human laws, and criticize God-centered programs.” [17]
LaVey says elsewhere: “Ideas and beliefs that in the past formed the basis of life, freedom, and effort for our predecessors have today become the secret and foundation of destruction and slavery, and a cause of stripping us of honor.” [18]
Satanists do not believe in good interaction, tolerance, forgiveness, proper conduct, or mutual respect with others, especially with neighbors, and they consistently emphasize cutting off relationships. [19]
    Disbelief in homeland and patriotism
The Satanist sect believes only in the power of Satan and says that ultimately it is Satan that rules the entire earth; therefore, one must strive to establish the state of Satan and disbelieve in all manifestations and geographical frameworks of current governments, especially the sense of patriotism. [20]
One of the well-known signs of Satanists is a serpent coiled around the globe, which represents the rule and dominance of Satan over the entire world.[21]
