Scientology; Its Origins and Beliefs (Part 15)
Objections of Those Who Deny the Resurrection (Qiyamah)
    1. First Objection
Objection of the denier: a denier looks at decayed bones and considers their revival impossible, saying: «مَنْ یُحْیِ الْعِظَامَ وَهِیَ رَمِیمٌ» Response of Allah Almighty:
    1. Allah reminds the human being that he himself once did not exist, and Allah created him from a mere drop of fluid. Therefore, the One who brought him from non-existence into existence is surely capable of bringing him back again: «قُلْ یُحْیِیهَا الَّذِی أَنْشَأَهَا أَوَّلَ مَرَّهٍ» Translation: “Say: He will give them life Who created them the first time.”
    2. Allah has complete knowledge of all His creation — even the smallest particles of the decayed bones: «وَهُوَ بِکُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِیمٌ» Translation: “And He is Knowing of every creation.”
    1. This is a daily miracle: from a fresh, moist tree — which is usually associated with life and is opposite to fire — fire emerges. This proves that Allah can bring forth things from their opposites. So reviving the dead from dust is not difficult for Him.
    2. The magnificent creation of the heavens and the earth is clear proof of Allah’s power to recreate human beings:
Translation: “Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able…?”
    1. The command “كُنْ فَيَكُونُ” (Be! — and it is) ultimately displays Allah’s absolute and limitless power. For Him, bringing anything into existence requires only His command.
    2. Second Objection
[1] Translation: “Does man think that We will not reassemble his bones. Yes indeed! We are able even to restore his very fingertips (with their unique patterns).”
    Objection of the denier:
The denier doubts the possibility of gathering and reconstructing scattered, decayed bones.
    Response of Allah Almighty:
Allah not only affirms that He can gather the bones, but He emphasizes that He can even restore the finest and most intricate human features, such as the unique patterns of the fingertips (banān). This demonstrates both His absolute power and His perfect precision — the individual’s full identity will be restored exactly as it was.
    3. Third Objection
[2] Translation: “O mankind! If you are in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] We created you from dust, then from a drop of fluid, then from a clinging clot, then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed…
And you see the earth lifeless, but when We send down water upon it, it stirs and swells and produces every type of delightful plant.
This is because Allah is the Truth, and because He gives life to the dead, and because He is powerful over all things, and because the Hour is coming without doubt, and because Allah will resurrect those who are in the graves.”
Response of Allah to the deniers:
    1. Allah describes in detail the stages of human creation — from dust to a complete human being. The point is clear:
If Allah can create such a complex being from nothing, then re-creation is surely easier.
    1. Allah presents a living example visible to all humans: the earth becomes dead and barren, but when rain descends, it revives and brings forth vibrant life.
This “resurrection of the earth” is a small example of the greater Resurrection of mankind. The revival of dead land is clear proof of Allah’s power to revive the dead.
    4. Fourth Objection
    وَکَانُوا یَقُولُونَ أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَکُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَئِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ • أَوَآبَاؤُنَا الْأَوَّلُونَ • قُلْ إِنَّ الْأَوَّلِینَ وَالْآخِرِینَ • لَمَجْمُوعُونَ إِلَى مِیقَاتِ یَوْمٍ مَعْلُومٍ [۳] Translation: “They used to say: ‘When we die and become dust and bones, will we really be resurrected? And our forefathers as well?’
Say: ‘Indeed, the former generations and the later generations — all will surely be gathered for the appointed Day.’”
    5. Fifth Objection
Translation: “Are you more difficult to create or the heaven? He built it, raised its height, and perfected it…
and after that He spread the earth…
Are you more difficult to create or the heaven?”
    Objection of the denier:
The denier assumes that re-creating himself is too unlikely or too difficult.
    Response of Allah Almighty:
Allah compares the creation of human beings — small and weak — with the vastness of the heavens and the earth. If Allah created the heavens with their immense grandeur, then restoring a human being — a far simpler creation — is certainly not difficult. This reasoning eliminates all doubt and hesitation.
