Freemasonry (Part One)
Introduction
The enemies of Islam, particularly Jews and Christians, have launched attacks on Islam and Muslims with all their power and resources, like a raging flood. As mentioned in the noble hadith, they regard Muslims as soft and tender prey, and with their false assumptions, they strive to destroy Islam through cunning schemes and malicious plans.
Among them, the Jews are the most persistent enemies of Islam, always lying in wait to strike its sacred body. Even today, Jews, under various names and groups, conspire against the Islamic world and continuously monitor Muslims through complex intelligence organizations they have established. Yet, many people remain unaware of the existence and precise operations of these organizations.
Today’s world is one of noise, complexity, cultural diversity, differences, fears, excitement, and thousands of unanswered questions that occupy human minds. In such a context, numerous groups, organizations, and sects emerge daily, bringing with them a load of new and strange beliefs and ideas. Some of these organizations operate entirely underground, so little accurate information is available about their true nature. However, it is certain that these groups exist and operate with deep influence and extensive reach. They recruit and guide individuals through highly sophisticated and precise methods.
Many of these sects are under Jewish supervision and are used as tools to strike Islam and Muslims. Among the most important and influential of these groups is Freemasonry.
Freemasonry is an organized global structure that has penetrated the pillars of governments and many political, economic, and cultural aspects of societies, pursuing its goals with considerable freedom. This paper examines how this group was formed, its beliefs and ideology, its sphere of influence, and its objectives. It is hoped that this writing will be useful for Muslims and raise awareness about this cancerous entity, so that it does not entangle them.
Definition of a Freemason
Linguistic Definition
The word mason means “builder.” A Freemason literally means “free builder.”
Freestone mason in English refers to a stonecutter or artisan. Some interpret Freemasonry as a “free builder,” i.e., a builder who does not work for pay.
“Masonry” comes from the word maçon or mason in English and French, meaning builder or architect. Usually, the English word free, meaning “independent,” or the French franc, meaning “honest,” is added to it, forming “Freemason” or “Frank Mason.” During the Ottoman era, it was pronounced “Firmason,” which, with slight pronunciation changes, spread to Iraq and Syria, where the common people pronounced it “Firmasun.”
-
In the 13th century AD, the term Freemason referred to artisans working with chisels, such as stonecutters and woodcutters.
Technical Definition
Freemasonry is an organized global institution that has dominated the pillars of world governments and most aspects of political, economic, and cultural life. A member of Freemasonry is called a “Mason” or “Freemason.” A building that serves as the center of Masons’ activities is called a Lodge. Freemasonry is a complex sect with secret structures that intervene in many political, economic, and cultural matters globally. Freemasons usually select members from prominent and influential people in society.
The three main centers of Freemasonry, located in Paris, London, and the United States, oversee all subordinate lodges in countries and cities worldwide, also playing the role of organization and coordination.
A Freemason is literally a “free builder.” The name of the group derives from ancient unions of builders. Freemasonry refers to the association, practices, and rituals through which local branches, called lodges, operate. Lodges are connected to a “Mother Lodge” or “Grand Lodge.” The group has secret knowledge encompassing rituals and symbols that are not disclosed to non-members. Members pledge to maintain secrecy upon joining.
Freemasonry lodges are established with the consent of their governments, their meeting places are usually known, and their boards of directors annually publish their activities. Members—especially in the United States—often publicly declare their membership. Therefore, Freemasonry should not be considered a purely “secret society” but rather an organization with secrets.
-
Freemasonry is a secretive society, difficult to infiltrate, and members are required to keep its secrets. Nevertheless, some have managed to access its inner workings and obtain important documents, revealing some of its secrets.
Masonry literally refers to “free builders.” It is originally a secret, mysterious, and Jewish terrorist organization. Its main goal is Jewish domination of the world. It advocates unconditional freedom while seeking to immerse people in corruption. Members often mask their goals under false slogans such as freedom, brotherhood, equality, and humanity. Most members are powerful figures in the world—people trusted to maintain secrecy. Freemasons organize very large gatherings worldwide, aiming to establish a global democracy (as they claim). In essence, the foundation of these efforts is to achieve the same ultimate goal: a non-religious global government.
