    Resurrection After Death (part 7)
Resurrection from the Perspective of Hadiths (Continued)
Translation: Umar ibn al-Khattab (MABH) said: We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) when a man appeared whose clothes were extremely white and whose hair was very black. No signs of travel were seen on him, and none of us recognized him. He came and sat close to the Prophet (PBUH), placing his knees against his knees, and said: O Muhammad, what is faith? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: That you believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Last Day, and that you believe in divine decree, its good and its evil.[1]
This clearly indicates belief in events that will occur after death and serves as firm evidence for resurrection after death.
Translation: It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (MABH) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I will be the first to raise my head after the second blowing of the Trumpet, and suddenly I will see Moses (RA) holding on to the Throne. I do not know whether he awoke before me or was among those whom Allah exempted from the shock.[2]
Translation: Anas (MABH) reported that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: My sending and the Hour are like these two. The narrator said: He joined his index finger and middle finger together.[3]
Translation: Abu Malek narrated that Ubayy ibn Khalaf brought a decayed bone to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), crushed it in front of him, and said: O Muhammad, will Allah resurrect this after it has decayed? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes, Allah will resurrect it, then cause you to die, then bring you back to life, and then admit you into the Fire of Hell.[4]
The narrator said: Then the verses at the end of Surah Ya-Sin were revealed: “Does man not see that We created him from a drop, and yet he becomes a clear disputant?”[5]
    10. In another narration from Abdullah ibn ʿAbbas (RA), al-ʿAs ibn Waʾil took a bone from the land of Bathaʾ, crushed it with his hand, and brought it to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), saying: Will Allah resurrect this after it has become what you see? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: Yes, Allah will cause you to die, then resurrect you, and then admit you into Hellfire. The narrator said: Then verses from the end of Surah Ya-Sin were revealed.[6]
Translation: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, the feet of a servant will not move until he is questioned about four things: about his life and how he spent it, about his knowledge and how he acted upon it, about his wealth—how he earned it and how he spent it, and about his body—how he wore it out.[7]
Translation: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every person will be resurrected upon the state in which he died. [8]
Translation: People will be resurrected according to their intentions. [9]
