A Concise Overview of the History and Ideologies of Communism (Part 10)
Belief and Thoughts of Communism
Communists deny the existence of Allah and all the unseen in general and believe on this as the basis of all things. Their slogan was: “We believe in three people: Marx, Lenin and Stalin and we disbelieve in three things: Allah, religion and private property.”
They do not believe in the existence of the afterlife and say that whatever punishment and reward there is, exist in this world and there is no punishment or reward outside this world.
Communism is a school whose followers have been introduced as atheists and apostates by the scholars of Christianity and Islam. This school has beliefs on various religious and social issues that we will discuss below.
Communists believe that the Quran was established during the reign of Hazrat Usman (MABH) and that several changes occurred in it until the eighth century. They believe that the Quran is a weapon to entrap nations, and for this reason, carrying the Holy Quran is considered a major crime in their laws and carries a one-year prison sentence.
They believe that different religions are nothing but a means to entrap nations. In fact, religions have come to serve imperialism and exploitation. Therefore, one of the teachings of communism is that “religion is the opium of the masses.”
The meaning of this sentence from a Marxist and communist perspective is that classes such as the clergy deceive the people and use religion as a means to rise their power, and the common people are deceived by them.
The educated communists of the former Soviet Union used to say that everything is created by something called eternal substance, which has no form, appearance, or form for seventy years.
Eternal means that it existed and was not created, and no one created it. Therefore, in response to the questioners, they would say: The foundation of all creation is eternal substance; that is, they would say: Do not ask who created it, because it did not exist, but rather it existed and will continue to exist and will not be destroyed. While this is what the worshippers of God (Allah) also say.
They had no choice but to use their inner and innate awareness, but instead of saying Allah, they would say: substance. They would say: Surely its creator is also substance, but Allah says in the Quran: (لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْ ءٌ) Translation: “there is nothing like Him.”
Perhaps many do not notice that the prophets did not come to prove God (Allah), because there is no doubt about the existence of the Lord of the Universe, as we read in the Holy Quran: (أَ فِي اللَّهِ شَكٌّ) Translation: “Is there any doubt about Allah, the Exalted?”
The prophets came to purify the beliefs of the people, but the prophets did not come to give God (Allah) to anyone; everyone has God (Allah), but they make mistakes in perceiving Him.
When you ask communist scientists what form this substance has, they say that it has no form, but it forms.
But in reality it is Allah who shapes and forms, as we read in these verses in the Holy Quran: (هُوَ الَّذِي يُصَوِّرُكُمْ فِي الْأَرْحامِ) Translation: “He it is Who fashions you in the wombs of your mothers.” (أَلَمْ تَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ سَخَّرَ لَكُمْ ما فِي السَّماواتِ وَ ما فِي الْأَرْضِ) “Have you not considered that Allah has subjected to you all that is in the heavens and the earth?”
These verses refer to this inner awareness. Do you not know that the heavens and the earth and all that is in them are subjected to you, humans? In this regard, there is no ignorant person in the world, rather, everyone is knowledgeable.
Allah says in Surah Al-Baqarah: (وَ أَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ) Translation: “all of you are knowledgeable, [ignorance is related to other matters.]”
After this verse, He says: (وَ أَسْبَغَ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعَمَهُ ظاهِرَةً وَ باطِنَةً) Translation: “I have placed in your path all material and spiritual blessings.”
However, this material and spiritual blessing is obtained through effort; We cannot achieve anything without effort and activity.
How can we prove God (Allah) with intellect?
A healthy nature and attention to the verses prove the existence of Allah. The signs of Allah’s existence are present in the chain of this life, and everything is a clear and obvious proof of the existence of a powerful and eternal God (Allah).
God (Allah) Almighty is the text of existence, life, and power that is pervasive and current in all existence. There is no particle in the universe that does not have the presence and appearance of Allah Almighty with His existence, life, power, knowledge, and other attributes in its interior and exterior. All phenomena in the world are manifestations of Allah’s attributes, and you can observe the essence of existence and Allah Almighty behind every phenomenon and attribute of perfection that you observe in existence. God (Allah) means the source of existence, life, knowledge, power, and other perfections that appear and manifest in nature and all existence. Achieving a deep and mystical knowledge of Allah requires great effort and passing through the stages and levels of theology, which we will mention below.
The problem of human cognition regarding God (Allah) is not a problem of confirmation, so that the discussion of doubt is raised, which is a discussion of confirmation. Rather, the problem of man in this regard is more of a conceptual problem. The existence of God (Allah) is a subject that, if properly conceived, its confirmation is obvious, and from a scientific point of view, doubting obvious is meaningless. Therefore, the problem in this regard is not the problem of doubt and certainty related to the field of confirmations, but rather the problem is a conceptual and cognitive problem and related to the field of ideas. It follows from human actions that they believe in God(Allah) and worship Him, but they do not have a correct idea and knowledge of the truth of God (Allah). Therefore, if they can obtain a true and correct idea for themselves regarding the subject of Allah by researching, thinking and seeking help from Allah Himself, they will definitely have certainty and confirmation about it, and the problem will be completely resolved.
An important reason why man’s problem with Allah Almighty is a conceptual problem, not a problem of confirmation and faith, is the Holy Quran. In the Holy Quran, the discussion of proving the principle of Allah’s existence is not pursued in any way, and not even a single reason for proving Allah’s existence is found in it. What exists in the Holy Quran in this regard is related to the discussion of Allah’s oneness, His attributes, perfections, and actions, and the work of reasoning and proving that exists in the works is entirely related to philosophers and theologians.
Regarding someone who doubts Allah’s existence or thinks that he doubts it, the Holy Quran says: (أفى الله شک فاطر السموات والأرض) Translation: “Do you doubt the existence of Allah, the Originator of the heavens and the earth?”
This verse means that doubting their Creator upon seeing the heavens and the earth is not a reasonable doubt.
Doubting the existence of Allah is like a person seeing a building and doubting the existence of its foundation; He may read a book but doubt the existence of its author; he may read a poem, but doubt the existence of its poet. Or, according to the theologians, he may observe a creation but doubt the existence of its creator. According to the philosophers, he may be familiar with the effect but doubt the existence of its cause. Or, according to the Sufis, he may see the manifestation but doubt the existence of its manifestative. Do you think such doubts are reasonable?
