Introduction: These days, anti-Islamists and opponents spare no effort to cast doubts on the religion of Islam and its rulings. They use various doubts and tricks to lead young girls and boys astray; a way that can make many sisters skeptical about their religion, beliefs, and convictions. Doubts about the hijab
First suspicion:
Some people say: The chastity of a young girl is a truth that lies in her essence and is not a covering that is thrown over her body; [meaning, according to these people, the covering does not have much effect on a woman’s personality].
There may be young girls who apparently have the hijab from men; but they behave inappropriately. Perhaps there are young girls whose heads are bare, their beauty is visible, and no evil can come to them.

If this is true, it is not only the clothes that give the owner his lost chastity and his lost strength; but who thinks that Allah has made the veil lawful in order to create purity in the woman? Who thinks that observing the veil means that women who are not veiled are immoral and adulterous. Certainly, Allah has made the veil obligatory for women to protect the eyes of men from looking at women, and the veil is not only a protection against the eyes that fall on them. [So that they are protected and immune from possible harassment and harm that may result from this lack of veiling.]
The second suspicion
They say that when a man and a woman are mixed, the morals of each of them are corrected, and because of this mix, pure and blameless friendships are formed between them, so that neither of them is inclined towards the opposite sex and they do not deviate towards evil. However, when there is a hijab between the two sexes, sexual tendencies between them flare up and provoke each towards the other, and because of this, disgrace arises in souls and evil arises in natures.

Dr. Muhammad Saeed Ramadan Buti, in response to this doubt, says: It is true that such people [with frequent intercourse with women] lose the signs of arousal and some of its effects disappear due to the long duration of the habit and its great spread, but this is the case with those who have entered its arena at a long stage of time and have benefited from its benefits and later have become indifferent to it.
It is clear that these people have not resorted to such a thing because of the rise in status and dignity and because of their salvation from corruption and wrongdoing, but rather their indifference and aversion to the opposite sex is because they have become indifferent to it and have benefited from it every day. [If women maintain their chastity and purity, avoid mixing, and do not talk to non-mahram men in any way, the status and value of women will increase, and men will follow the right and correct path to achieve it.]
The third suspicion
Some say that the hijab certainly facilitates the process of concealing women’s personalities, and some women who commit adultery hide themselves behind the veil.

A Muslim woman who wears the hijab at this time will certainly be attacked by the media and academic departments in some countries, and by the arrogance of hypocrites everywhere.
This woman is patient in the face of all these problems only for the sake of Allah, and this is done by a faithful and sincere woman who has been raised under the shadow of the Quran [and despite the widespread propaganda of the enemies of the hijab, she is still not willing to back down and be affected by it]. When a wicked woman wants to escape from the eyes of men by being careless and wearing the symbol of chastity, then what is the sin of the hijab?
The fourth suspicion
They said that the sexual power in man is great and dangerous, and the veil of a woman covers her beauty. As a result, this young man remains in control of the sexual instinct that is about to explode in the form of rape and… So, they believe that the solution is that women should be free from the shackles of the veil so that young men can escape this mental and psychological pressure they are under.

If this is true; So, America and Europe are countries where incidents such as rape of women, riots among women and other moral crimes take place, because there everyone enjoys complete and absolute freedom. So, what is the result of this indifference? Will rape of women decrease? Will women be protected from this danger?
The latest statistics show that in America, every 90 seconds a woman is raped, and in France more than twenty-five thousand women are raped every year. A report by Amnesty International published in 2004 stated that one in five women in the world will be a victim of rape or attempted rape in their lifetime.
The Fifth suspicion
They said that the veil of a woman holds back half of society and prevents her from participating with men in political, cultural and social sectors, and that the first step towards any political or social activity is for a young girl to reveal her face and remove the obstacles that stand between her and men.
Just as the first way to eliminate her various political and social talents and abilities is to lock herself under a veil and create a barrier between herself and men that she calls a veil and manners.

It can certainly be said that this self-made association is a great slander that is not based on any basis or reason, and I (Allama Saeed Ramadan Al-Bouti) confess while I have observed with my own eyes, veiled university girls with Islamic clothing, clinging to the command of Allah, have overtaken their other unrestrained classmates in the scientific and cultural movement and intellectual and social activity.
The truth Is that there is no problem with a woman’s veil that prevents her from performing her duties, does not allow her to work, and does not prevent her from acquiring knowledge. Many girls who are studying in universities and wear veiled clothes and avoid intercourse with men, they have stolen the lead in exams, and all are equally respected and appreciated by professors and students.
The sixth suspicion
Opponents of the hijab claim that women’s makeup and nudity do not attract men’s attention, while men pay more attention to veiled women because they want to get to know this woman.

When makeup and beauty are considered normal, people do not look at her…. Why does this girl put on makeup and for whom did she put on makeup? And why does she bear the cost of all this perfume and fragrance and follow fashions?
The truth is that the highest proportion of immorality, indifference, lust, and sexual and relative mixing is related to going out (from homes and appearing in public) in a makeup-covered, but naked and unclothed form.
Of course, the reason why some people follow veiled women and do not follow women with makeup is that: veiled women are like a closed book whose contents and thoughts are unknown to anyone, and when we look at the cover of that book, we never become aware of its contents.
But a woman with makeup is like an open book whose pages are turned by hands and its lines are passed by our eyes, and it does not leave her until her beauty is gone and her pages are torn; rather, she becomes an old book that is not suitable to be placed in the showcase of a small library, let alone in the showcase of a large library.
The Seventh suspicion
Anti-Islamists also say that the young girl who locks herself behind her veil and is depriving her youth with the veil, and in fact, we can say, depriving her life of the happiness of marriage; Because a young man is attracted to a girl who is infatuated with him. Without a doubt, young people are first of all attracted to the beauty of girls and things related to the manifestations of their personality.
How can a young man trust a girl if he is not provided with the means to see her and mix with her, and how is it possible that these means are provided when the girl hides herself behind a burqa and a hijab?

This is a false deception that expresses the opposite of reality and truth; a deception that false callers create despite knowing it, and the thoughts of young girls and their mothers are affected by these deceptions through ignorance and unawareness.
If we really consider the conditions of our society, it becomes clear to us that the attention paid to families and girls who are veiled is twice as much as to families who are uninhibited and unrestrained, who are affected by this propaganda and have been deceived by it.
Rather, in general, marriages are more common in religious families than in other families. [That is, people’s desire and inclination towards veiled, chaste, and noble women is much greater than their desire for women who are not veiled and carefree; because they know that this woman is going to become the teacher of a whole generation in the future, when she herself has difficulty in her upbringing, education, faith, and belief; how can she educate a generation well and take care of them.]
