    Satanism (Part 13)
4.1 Satanists and the Devine Books
The foundation of Satanism is built on the idea of denying the existence of Allah, so it is no surprise that this sect rejects the Devine Books. Their perspective on the Holy Books is generally characterized by denial, rejection, and insult. Below, we outline some of their beliefs regarding the Devine Books:
    a) Denial and Rejection
Satanists believe that the Holy Books are creations of human intellect. In their view, certain elites authored these books to dominate ordinary people. They also claim:
“The main reason for humanity’s backwardness is the existence of sacred Holy Books. The authors of these books, by disseminating their teachings, have prevented people from attaining other sciences. As a result, elites monopolized knowledge and expanded their dominance over the masses.”
This deviant movement’s proposal for liberation from the shackles of imitation and faith in the Holy Books is to deny and reject all of them. To achieve this goal, they argue that the Torah and the Bible are products of human thought—ideas that have drawn inspiration throughout history from the beliefs of pagan religions and sects. For example, the concept of monotheism in these books is said to have been borrowed from the story of Akhenaten of Egypt. The tale of Adam’s fall and his expulsion from paradise is attributed to Sumerian culture. The Ten Commandments of the Torah are linked to the Code of Hammurabi, and the story of the wilderness of “Tih” is rooted in the myth of the Egyptian god Horus.
Undoubtedly, this sect’s arguments often hinge on the clear contradictions in the distorted Torah and Bible. While we do not deny the existence of contradictions in the altered Torah and Bible, their claims do not apply to the Holy Qur’an. Such assertions have been made by misguided individuals throughout history. Regarding this, the Holy Qur’an states: «قَالُوا أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَلْفِتَنَا عَمَّا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا وَتَكُونَ لَكُمَا الْكِبْرِيَاءُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا نَحْنُ لَكُمَا بِمُؤْمِنِينَ»؛ Translation: “They said: ‘Have you come to turn us away from what we found our fathers following? And that you two should have greatness (and leadership) in the land?! We will (never) believe in you!” Also, the claim that the heavenly books are derived from the beliefs and cultures of past people has been a constant assertion by the enemies of Islam. We read in the Quran: «وَقَالُوا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ اكْتَتَبَهَا فَهِيَ تُمْلَى عَلَيْهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا»؛ Translation: “And they said: These are the legends of the ancients, which he has transcribed, and they are dictated to him every morning and evening.”
    b) Insults and Attacks
This sect tears apart and tramples on the heavenly books during their gatherings on a large scale. The majority of their songs also consist of insults directed at the heavenly books. For example, in one of their songs, they state: “(The heavenly holy books) have spread germs everywhere. Religion is an unpleasant, frightening, warlike, aggressive, and obscene phenomenon.”
Thus, part of the group’s rituals includes insulting the sanctities of religious individuals. They attack all divine laws, especially the beliefs of Muslims, without any distinction. For example, this group’s interpretation of religion is as follows: “Religion is a virus that has spread everywhere. Religion is an unpleasant and undesirable phenomenon. Religion means fear and terror; religion means aggression and plunder; religion means prostitution.” These phrases and expressions express their inner wickedness and open hostility toward religion and religiosity. In fact, this group, under the guise of these deviant beliefs, seeks to free themselves from the teachings of religion, and in doing so, they attempt to convince themselves and others of their views.
