    Colonialism (Part 24)
Changing the Type of Education and Higher Education in Afghanistan
In the field of education, they made countless efforts to keep the generation of children, teenagers, and young people away from religious education and useful contemporary sciences. In this regard, they implemented numerous changes in schools and the education curriculum system, such as:
1- Marginalizing religious themes and Islamic sciences and allocating limited hours and small portions to them.
2- Removing religious concepts related to the assumption of Jihad, the fight against colonialism and intellectual war, the necessity of the caliphate and Islamic government, etc., from the themes of schools.
3- Requiring the type of western Uniforms in schools and strictness in matching the faces of the students to the culture of foreigners.
4- Introducing themes that introduce Sharia taboos such as music, cinematography, veiling, etc. as part of art and culture.
5- Creation of mixing in some schools and mixing of female and male students, which is clearly against the teachings of Islam and the national culture of Afghanistan.
6- Appointing female teachers for male schools and also appointing male teachers for girls’ schools, which also caused countless corruptions.
7- Setting the stage for administrative corruption and taking bribes from some teachers in exchange for students’ grades and attendance and weakening the educational level with this work.
8- The severe weakness of the educational level in education and the creation of imaginary learners and also the success of failed learners, this was done with the aim of attracting the help of the institutions of the colonial countries and creating a false educational environment.
9- Introduction of western countries in history books as civilized and cultured countries and the need to follow them in all matters.
10- The lack of provision for female students and the occurrence of countless incidents of moral corruption in girls’ schools or the way they go back and forth.
In the field of higher education, there are countless cases of academic weakness and the creation of an atmosphere of administrative corruption, illicit relationships, etc., the following can be mentioned:
1- Failure to acquire expertise and higher education due to the existence of imaginary students and their graduation.
2- Focusing on creating relationships between male and female students and not paying attention to academic quality.
3- The expansion of private universities regardless of the scientific criteria and basic needs of a university.
4- Determining a weak educational curriculum for universities and not focusing on strong and standardized teaching and relying on chapters and summaries.
5- Determining very small hours and less time for the theme of Islamic culture and marginalizing it in practice.
6- The total elimination of Islamic concepts that are about Islamic jihad, intellectual war, anti-colonialism, caliphate and Islamic emirate, etc.
7- Mixing of male and female classes in classrooms and creating illegitimate relationships in this field.
8- Appointing deviant and sometimes irreligious professors in universities and trying to spread atheism among students.
9- The activity of different intellectual and political groups in universities and the spread of different thoughts and opinions among students.
10- Opening the “American University” in Kabul and trying to educate a generation that will agree with their wishes, goals, thoughts and plans and be able to hand over the country’s affairs to it in the future.
This university was managed under the direct supervision of the United States of America and huge and high funds were allocated to it, and it tried to teach young generation and students deviant and irreligious thoughts under the cover of higher education, and in fact, it has been an important base for the propagation and expansion of Christianity in Afghanistan.
