Comparison of ideologies (1st part)

الحمدلله الذی هدانا لدین الاسلام وماکنا لِنهتدی لولا ان هدانا الله والصلوة والسلام علی محمدٍ قائدنا ورسول الله.

(Praise be to Allah who guided us to the religion of Islam, and we would not have been guided had Allah not guided us, and may peace and blessings be upon Muhammad, our leader and Messenger of Allah.)

In this article, I intend to ignore and compare different ideologies in order to determine which ideology has the ability to solve human problems; And also clarify whether the other two ideologies, namely capitalism and communism, are in contradiction with Islam or not? And what is Islam and how is it an ideology? Muslims should live according to which ideology?

Islam

Islam is the name of the religion that was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to solve the problems of humans. So Islam is an ideology that has thinking and solutions.

Ideology

Ideology is an intellectual opinion that is formed from that system, and this opinion is a comprehensive thought about the universe, man, life in the world, as well as its relation to its predecessors and successors. And the system that was created from this opinion is a solution to solve human problems and expresses how to implement the solution to these problems, protect the opinion and carry the ideology; Therefore, expressing how to implement and protect and carry the belief is called “method” and other than that, which is belief and solving problems, is called “thinking”.

In Islam, there are no such terms as religious men or worldly men, and from the point of view of Islam, all Muslims are equal; Because everyone believes in one Allah and has the same belief and faith. And they have no superiority over each other except for piety. As Almighty Allah says: «اِنَّ اَکْرَمَکمْ عِنْداللهِ اَتقکمْ»

(The most honorable of you in the sight of Allah is the most pious of you.) [AlHujarat: 13]

Islamic faith consists of faith in Allah, angels, holy books, prophets, the Day of Resurrection, and also faith in destiny and fate, the good and evil of which is from Almighty Allah.

Iman is derived from the root of Aman, which means peace and reassurance. Also, faith is a definite acceptance according to the fact that is created in the heart due to the existence of reason, along with confession with the tongue; Therefore, two points should be considered:

1. Acceptance without reason is not faith; Because there is no certainty in it.

2. Acceptance is certain when the reason is also certain; So there is no such thing as doubtful faith.

In the same way, belief is the testimony that there is no Allah but Allah Almighty and Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, is the Messenger of Allah Almighty; Therefore, testifying should be based on knowledge, certainty and truth, not suspicion.

Islamic belief is considered as the foundation of human life, government, Islamic laws and thoughts; Therefore, it is intellectual leadership, intellectual law and political opinion; Because the thoughts, rulings, opinions and concepts that are taken from it or based on it are related to the affairs of the hereafter as well as related to the affairs of this world and its advancement, as in the rulings of buying and selling, rents, proxies, sureties, There are rulings on property, marriage, partnerships, and inheritance, and there are also rulings that relate to the quality of the execution of rulings and the advancement of worldly affairs; Such as the rulings on appointing the Amir for the congregation, the rulings on the method of appointing the Amir, the rulings on obedience to the Amir, the rulings on the calculation of the Amir, as well as the rulings on jihad, peace and truce, and penal rulings, etc.

Therefore, belief regulates things and helps to move them forward. This is the belief that enables a person to confront and fight to carry out his call and support that call to help him rule, as well as support the sultan and the survival of his kingdom, and enforce the laws and hold the sultan accountable if he fails to enforce the laws. Makes.

What is the reason for advancing and regulating affairs is the belief that this belief must be ruled and after that it should be carried by Da’wah Waqtal, that is, it should be delivered to the world?

The requirement of this belief is that servitude, submission and legislation is only for Allah Almighty and servitude for other than Him is rejected; Whether it is an idol or a tyrant or the desires of the soul and its desires, as the one and only creator, he deserves to be worshiped and he is the ruler, the possessor, the ruler, the guide, the provider, the lifer, the guide and the supporter; And it is He who rules and is capable of everything, and in none of these cases, none of His creatures share with Him. Such an opinion is necessary that among all creations, only Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, should be followed and followed, and no one else should be followed, and everything should be asked of him, and nothing should be asked of anyone else. Because he is the one who brought the law of the Lord, and it is not permissible to receive the law from any human being other than him, or from other religions and principles, or from another legislator; Rather, it is obligatory to only follow him and receive from him. (Of course, the subjects of ijtihad in which the mujtahids are followed are also based on the instructions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.)

According to Islam, the scale of actions is halal and haram. So legislation in Islam is based on Quran, Sunnah, Ijma and Qiyas. It is necessary for Muslims to adjust their lives according to them; Because, Islam is a perfect religion which is completed by the verse: «الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الْإِسْلَامَ دِينًا» [Maida: 3] and there is nothing lacking in it. Muslims do not want to create or change the government and system self-governing, turn to other ideologies and act accordingly.

But unfortunately, while their religion has solved all aspects of their lives, Muslims turn to other principles. This is very interesting, because when Muslims pray, fast, and perform Hajj, they follow Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, as an example, but in other actions, such as the governance system, transactions, economy, etc., they do not follow Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, as a model and turn to other ideologies.

It should be known that the only source of legislation is the Sharia, and we should follow him as an example, because Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, brought the religion of Islam and did not bring other religions. Therefore, according to this verse, other religions are rejected:

«وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانتَهُوا»(Accept [and implement] what the Messenger of Allah brought you, and refrain from what he forbade.) [Hashr: 7]

And also says: «وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَامُؤْمِنَه إِذَا قَضَى اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَه مِنْ أَمْرِهِ»

 (No believing man or woman has the right to have discretion [against Allah’s command] when Allah and His Prophet deem it necessary.) [Ahzab: 36]

Therefore, it is necessary for Muslims to carry out all their actions in accordance with the laws of the Sharia, as Almighty Allah has said:

«فَلَا وَرَبِّكَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّىٰ يُحَكِّمُوكَ فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ» (They swear by your Lord that they will not be believers unless they ask you to judge in their disputes.) [An-Nisa: 65]

From what was mentioned above, it is understood that Muslims are required to follow the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and follow him as an example in all their matters. As Almighty Allah says:

«لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللهِ أُسْوَه حَسَنَه» [احزاب: 21]؛

But unfortunately, Muslims imitate the ideologies of foreigners and take them as their model and behave accordingly! Muslims should know that the only method that is necessary for Muslims to act according to it is Islam, which method was brought to us by Prophet Muhammad.
